Well, we aren't screwed because we have one asset that not many teams are looking to be giving away.
Kemba is severely underpaid in a capped out market. Teams looking to improve will not find anyone near his level at this price.
I look at Philly and think they could really use someone like Kemba, but there has to be other teams out there ready to shell out a lot of draft picks to grab someone like Kemba in the current market.
As the article mentioned, this cap tightness will go away in 2019,2020 when these giant contracts start to fall off the books, making it easier to sign Kemba to a max at that time.
