Maybe not great but he's already trending towards being a better player than TJ.

TJ is overrated massively on here, so thats not saying much.

Yeah, his 20 a game is a bit of fools good. He wouldn't be more than a 6th man on a contending team, but he's still a solid player.

Traded him for Simmons in fantasy just three games ago exactly because I was worried about an injury, whew

I'd say at 11/year it's hard to overrate him. At least value for money is fantastic.

Did the Suns not score in like the last 4 minutes?

Define overrated. I guess all of us are wrong when we vote after the games? Imagine if we had a decent PG. didn't we have a few a couple years ago?

He's not overrated from a contract value standpoint but from a how good is he really standpoint, I think he does get overrated. Again, he's one of my favourite players on this team to watch but his limitations as at today are fairly evident.

Exactly. His contract is a steal. Unless someone thinks he is the next Lebron or something then he is underrated IMO. I haven't heard those claims on this board.

Also, by our Nashty/Cactus standings he is our most consistent player this year and last. He doesn't kill us if he has an off game. For his usage he currently has -6 in the Cactus vote. Pretty amazing really. Unless none of us know how to assess talent in these games we watch.

Haha, "confusing" is probably the nicest way trading an unprotected pick for the privilege of signing Brandon knight to a big contract has been referred in this neck of the RealGM woods.

Some other words and phrases that have been used by Suns fans in evaluating this deal have been $%#$%$@#!!!, %^*@#^*@#^@&, ?!??!?!?!?, :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: , and ********!

The only thing preventing me from drinking myself out of a job is the fact that the Lakers aren't bottom 3 this year.

Yeah, just like any board, a lot of homers that overrate, don't want to hear a bad word about the team, n want to win in a clear tank job season. Can't expect anymore.

When people list TJ as a building block going forward, he is hugely overrated. All he does is score at average efficiency (please dont give FG%), terrible defender and has still not shown much improvement of being a playmaker. He is a 6th man.

Also Nashty/Cactus is probably the most subjective 'stat', if you can even call it that. Booker might have more impact on the floor but putting up 25 is not as Nashty worth as say JJ/Bender putting up 15/7.

Exactly.

Trying to be sneaky implying that if we think he's overrated around here that EVERYONE doesn't know how to evaluate games. Also typical.

Just saying that maybe you don't know how to evaluate games. TJ is the last guy we should be worried about on this team. Great contract. We have some glaring holes in our roster.

Logical fallacy. We're talking about overrating Warren, which I've seen all too often around here.

Logical fallacy? I took philosophy 101 as well. It's all good. I'm a homer for sure. I will leave it at that.
