The Bulls could go best available or search for a prospect big man to pair next to Markkanen. If the Bulls miss out on Bamba or Jackson, it could make sense to move down into the Williams or Gafford range, especially considering that Foreman is no stranger to draft-day trades.
Thoughts?
I don't like that at all.
We have just as huge a need at 3 (actually, bigger imo since I see it being fairly likely that we finish games with Lauri at the 5 down the road; obviously, if we are able to snag someone like JJJ, that scenario is unlikely). This team's biggest need is for big, skilled athletic wings imo.
Secondly, it sounds like they are suggesting we trade down to around where the Pelicans pick might end up.
I suppose it depends what compensation we received to move down, but my initial reaction is that I don't like the idea or their reasoning behind the idea.
