Funny thing here is for Jojo to put up some stunt where he also suddenly forgot how to shoot and it gets caught on video by media people. LOL

If he had failed the concussion test he would miss several games. Hopefully he is available for tomorrow's game, but since it is the Hawks, maybe they sit him.

Anxiously awaiting news today.

I don't think they're going to let him get on the plane even if there's no issue beyond swelling. Maybe he'll join them in Charlotte.

I think this is more going to shape up like one of those things where they list him as questionable every night until he finally plays in the Cavs game.

I don't take any teams for granted. I want Embiid to play against the Hawks. People think just because they stink we can just sit Embiid. If he can't play ok then it is what it is and we just have to beat the Hawks without him but if he's good to go I want him suited up ready to play against the Hawks.

He’s not playing tomorrow people. He’s not gonna leave the hospital with whatever pain/injury he has and go jump on a plane. Also the team has probably already left for Atlanta or will be very soon

so Embiid lost control of the ball before he could hand it off to Markelle, and both of them were going for it when they clonked heads. right? i wonder just how much trouble Biid's hand still gives him. obviously, THAT won't heal before the playoffs. but i look forward to how much better he will play next season once it fully recovers.

I wouldn’t be too worried about the “not good” caption. It wasn’t necessarily referring to his condition, but possibly just a remark that he is in the hospital. It was a nasty hit and they just want to keep an eye on him.

I’ll be worried until I hear he is fine, but all the initial reporting, which came after X-rays and concussion testing, report he should be fine.

My god has he improved throughout the year!! He was very good at the start but his game has moved to a new level as of late. Tip of the iceberg kids, we got a first ballot HOFer at center.

Hopefully this thing isnt too severe. Even a small facial fracture, he should be able to play with a mask.

Was hoping to get Embiid a few games off to rest his legs for the playoffs and perhaps give that hand some relief, so perhaps this is a blessing in disguise if he misses say this 2 game road trip. Of course would much rather have him simply resting, than injuring himself though. Guys will have to step up in his absence, we've been playing such fantastic basketball lately, would hate to see that slip.

This may put a damper on catching the Cavs and 50 wins, but as long as we can hold off the Pacers and keep home court.

Generally after a player goes to hospital, they put out statement that he was released.

Either:
-he is still there chillin
-it’s bad news and they are super slow to release it.
-he got out but they suck at PR and didn’t think to let everyone know our star player is ok.

That's a pretty vague update. Is it anything more than a contusion? Is he expected to return following the two game road trip?

So he is out for at least 2 games.

Could really hurt out chances at getting 50 wins.

And its all your fault Fultz!!! (had to say it lol)

He could use the rest anyway, but Jojo Said he wanted 50 wins, so I could see him forcing his way into the second game of the trip. Most likely though, I think he will miss the trip for precautionary reasons and return after the trip.
