His defense was lazy, stupid, and non-existent for a lot of the season. His efficiency fell off to a very poor level. I love Russ and he will forever be my favorite NBA player for what he means to this franchise. However, he still had a disappointing season.
And the whole "I hate this team" thing is just a way I blow off steam every time they frustrate me this year; which has been a lot. Best case scenario we win two more games than we did last year. Adams had a down year last year, we didn't have KD, PG, or Melo, and we might win two more games than we did last year. We lost way too many games to bad teams, pulled off way too many close wins against bad teams after looking like crap for three quarters, and choked away games against good teams in the second half of the season.
All things considered, this has been the most disappointing Thunder season maybe ever. I hated this season even more than the first season because that year we had zero expectations.
His defense has always been lazy/stupid at times.
His efficiency is not down compared to his career percentages. Free throw percentage, is, but everything else indicates an above average year from him in terms of efficiency and percentages. He's been great, 25/10/10 on 45% from the field, 3rd highest fg % of his career. If you prefer efg%, it's his 4th best ever, .02 away from his second best. The statement that his efficiency had fallen off is a false narrative.
You must hate reality. His ts is the third lowest of his career.
Oh wow, yea what a terrible year. His ft %/attempts are down, and the attempts being down are completely understandable given his new roster. that's why. Such a bad season. Speaking of hating reality, you all think they lose in 5 games in the first round still, or willing to eat crow before the playoffs start?
Edit: this is another pathetic example of you reaching to manufacture ways to criticise your own favorite team. He had a very bad year because "it was his third worst TS% of his career"!

his fts dipped!!!
Do you hear yourself. Think houston fans would say harden had a very bad year if it was his third worst ts%, with the stats he has? How bout Cavs fans, they think LeBron was awful? He had the worst net rating in the league for like a month. But you keep hearing it's maybe his best season in years......you guys continue to overanalyze stats, and not properly interpret them, in an effort to denounce the team and players for some reason. They have a way better chance in the Playoffs (only thing that matters), yet you all want to mope about their regular season record, that they didn't seem to care much about with how they played. Patterson, abrines, and grant all appear to be peaking. Playoffs are going to show you.
