Presti is trolling. The thought of lavar being involved with this organization is hilarious.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

It would keep OKC getting lots of media coverage while they miss the playoffs. It makes sense as Presti has shown recently that he knows he is selling entertainment and not winning. LaVar could be on ESPN and local radio everyday talking about how terrible Donovan is. It would keep Presti from getting the blame for his failures as the fans who listen to sports talk to get their feeble opinions spoon fed to them would be too focused on Donovan to realize that the problem is higher up the food chain.

My draft board filled with somewhat realistic options
1. Khyri Thomas
2. Josh Okogie
3. Rawle ALkins
4. Melvin Frazier
5. Jacob Evans
6. Justin Jackson

If we moved Adams for a decent pick, I’m still very high on Troy Brown.

I don’t hate him, but he can’t really shoot

That’s probably his biggest glaring weakness. He’s not so bad that I don’t think he couldn’t get better.

We need someone who can get to the rim off the bench worse than we need shooting. Assuming Grant starts you're looking at Melo, Patterson, Abrines, and Ferguson as your primary bench guys. They can all hit threes at an acceptable rate, but none gets to the rim.

Hard pass on Brown. He's skilled but looks like a worse Evan Turner imo. No chance in hell I'd move Adams to get him.

If we are standing pat @ 53 and Gary Trent Jr. is still there, I think he is the obvious choice. Let him develop behind Westbrook and let Westbrook rest a little more.

Re: 2018 NBA Draft Thread
Not a fan of trading Adams. I think that would be short sided.
Presti should just draft a couple of Euros with those late 2nds. Potentially purchase a mid 30's second rounder. IIRC, we havent spent any of our money. I'm sure Philly would be fine with unloaded one of those mid 30's picks.
My hot take: We trade Abrines + a purchased mid 30's pick to Chicago for the 22nd pick. Draft Spellman.

Ball would be fun on our summer league team. Aren't we going to Vegas this year too?

Assuming we ended up with a pick in each range, who is your first pick based on realistic projections?
1-5
6-10
11-15
16-20
21-25
26-30
1-5
6-10
11-15

This is a fun one. Using The Ringer's mock, and assuming they're maybe a few spots off. I'll
1-5: Doncic
6-10: Porter Jr.
11-15: Mikal Bridges (I'd debate him 6-10 too), could put Sexton here
16-20: Jacob Evans
21-25: Khyri Thomas
26-30: Okogie
Also, I know everyone would hate it but I'd debate Mo Wagner as a shooting big late 1st.

Do we assume that pick is just given to us? Or is it based on we've traded everyone?

1-5: Doncic / JJJ (I think JJJ could be really good and that Doncic will be good also, but might be overhyped a bit.
6-10: Michael Porter
10-15: Lonnie Walker
15-20 Khyri Thomas
20-25 Anfernee Simons
25-30 Alkins/ DiVincenzo
Honorable Mention 25-30: Mo Wagner

11-15) Mikal Bridges, Miles Bridges
16-20) Knox, Aaron Holiday
21-25) Mitchell Robinson, Okobu, Khyri
26-30) Evans, Simmons
I think Robinson is worth the risk/reward after pick 20. He'd be a great pick for Philly at 26 to be a backup for Embiid. I could see the Spurs taking him at 18, or trading back. The Spurs got a steal on Murray they could end up with another one this year. The Spurs seem to always find a way to get the obvious player that gets ignored for no good reason.

Re: 2018 NBA Draft Thread
I'm seeing a lot of buzz around Huerter—haven't seen much of him but a ton of smart draft guys are in love with him.
