They will sign Lebron and PG outright.
They then still have enough assets to make a play for the Claw plus a guy like Kemba.
Imagine:
-Kemba
-Claw
-PG
-Lebron
- Who carees
They bring back Lopez, Frye, and add 2-4 more ring chasers. Hell, they even still have IT's bird rights.
Even if they lose Ball, Ingram, Kuzma, Randle, and picks in the process...it will be worth it.

Look, i was one that always said Lebron wouldnt go to LA, because of the team in place and having other better options, but i do have to say it looks more and more like he just might. Saw he just sank a ton of money into his LA mansion. He lives there in the offseason. Why not just play for LA and be able to be there all the time. And looking at the current cavs team, i dont think they would beat the Lakers if they didnt have Lebron. The fact that they can make the moves to obtain other stars will be detrimental. I think they will have to trade for a star player first.......and that would help lure in Lebron.....and in turn that is how you get PG. I think George is and would be just fine staying in OKC, but man, if LA did get Lebron (along with that other star), it would be hard for him to turn that opportunity down. I also think that IT could be convinced to take less than the "Brinx Truck" to stay in LA and be apart of the super team, so no need to go after Kemba. IT would fit in fine with that squad, since Lebron is a point-forward, all he needs a PG to do is to hit shots when he passes the ball, and thats IT strong suit.
But yeah, i could see LA making a big play by offering the Spurs Ball/Ingram/Frye and a future 1st or two for Kawhi. Dont know how Coach Pop or the Spurs would deal with Lavar, but i think that organization could turn Ball into the best player he could be. Ingram replaces Kawhi at the SF spot, and would fit in great since he is kinda a point forward with great passing skills.
They trade for Kawhi, sign Lebron which allows them to maybe sign George as well. Since its LA, im sure they would be more than fine exceeding the lux cap. After all that, exceed the cap by re-inking their own guys IT and Lopez (Who would fit in just fine in that 3 point shooting Love role) and Randle...... and they still have Kuzma locked in dirt cheap for the next 3 years.
IT/George/Kawhi/Lebron/Lopez ........Payton2/Hart/Kuzma/Randle/Zubac
Thats a hell of a lot better than Cleveland.....or OKC....or San Antonio.

Think he, Ayton, Bender and a small 3&D 4 like Aminu or Mbah a Moute make for an interesting front court rotation.

PG would be around 4 years for 130.6 mill on Birds Rights, or he can sign a short-term two year contract to bridge the gap on his service time until he becomes a 10-year veteran to take up 35 percent of the cap to result in a total compensation of 280 mill for 7 years. Four years, $152 million for Lebron

They sure as hell can! All they need to do is open up enough capspace to sign Lebron and George. From there they can spend whatever they want and go over the cap to whatever extent it takes to re-sign their own players. SO even if LBJ/PG takes them right up to the cap, they can spend whatever on keeping their own players like IT/Lopez/Randle.
