False.
Legacy matters.
People say we won't remember how KD won his rings in 20 years but that's false. A lot of us will remember his move as the softest professional sports move we've ever seen.
It will stain his legacy forever.
Makes me think of watching the former player analysts on TV... Shaq, Kenny Smith, Chauncy Billups, Jalen, Barkeley, Pierce... they like to rib each other about their careers... you think when Durant's generation takes over those roles they won't be snickering and slighting Durant for how he won his championships? You think that won't bother him? He has shown himself to be the most sensitive dude ever. It's gonna haunt him forever.
Dude is freaking stained.
Yeah you don't represent the millions of fans who buy his jersey or his shoes or those watching these Finals games, around the world.
Real GM posters are a tiny, whiny minority.

because you speak for everyone who isn't on Realgm? You think KD doesn't care about the opinion of others in the NBA or analysts or hardcore fans? He quite obviously does. He hears it and it quite obviously effects him.
Most everyone I know who (I don't think posts on realgm) follows the NBA even casually recognizes what KD did was pathetic from a competitive standpoint.
Everyone has a legacy. Dirks is struggling with the Mavs for years and years and finally overcoming and willing his franchise to a championship. People (NBA people and knowledgeable fans) respect the hell out of that.
KD's is being the 2nd best player in the league and joining the core of a 73 win team who had already won a championship and quite clearly didn't need him to win another (even if they did miraculously lose in 7 to CLE). That's a horrible look.
No I don't have to speak for anyone.
The facts speak for themselves.
High sales of jerseys and shoes, highest ratings since 2003 for one of the Finals games. A lot of Real GM people claim they're not even watching the Finals because the suspense is gone.
But millions in the US and around the world are watching.
How could this be, KD "ruined" the NBA, according to Real GM?
