The Atlanta Hawks very well could control the direction of the draft at No. 3 as they zero in on either selecting Luka Doncic, or trading the slot to a team looking to move up to select him.
"Teams know this right now, they have to get to No. 3 to get Luka Doncic," said Adrian Wojnarowski on ESPN's Wednesday evening draft coverage.
"Dallas at No. 5 has been knocking at that door," added Wojnarowski.
The Orlando Magic and even the Denver Nuggets also have interest in trading up for Doncic, according to Wojnarowski.
If the Hawks trade down, they could target Trae Young.

He is at the top of my list for players I think will be available. I doubt we have the balls to pick him.
i dont normally agree with you Rhodey, but i've been sayin this from the jump. something very eerily similar about these two dudes. i can see it.

We move up for a center that doesn’t compliment our best player in any way. This is either a trade up attempt for Luka or worse, Trae/MPJ.
I was really warming up to Knox.
KP to Spurs Kawhi to Lakers Lonzo Ingram to Knicks in the works
Sign me up especially if we can get the Spurs 18 or Murray from the Spurs

Do we even have space for Kyrie with Parsons' deal on the books?
Just did the math... assuming we trade CLee, bring back nobody this summer (Kanter, KOQ), and waive every non guaranteed deal (Lance, Dotson) and QO (Baker, Troy), we have...
Noah- 6.43 (stretched 19.3/3)
THJr- 18.15
KP- 7.5 x 3 (cap hold 22.5)
Frank- 4.85
Parsons- 25.1
#4 pick- 6.0 (approx)
2019 top 4 pick- 6.0 (approx)
Equals about 90 mil. The cap is 108 next year.
Can we stretch 2 players at once? If so, you’d have enough. If not, you’d have to find a THJ taker.

Many reports have stated using #4 to get rid of Parsons and nothing about them demanding anything major back.
They aren't just using the #4 pick for pure salary dump. That would be insanity.
Paying Parsons $25 mil a year for 2 more years is insanity.
FemaleDogPlease wrote:I can see Memphis trading for Parsons and 4th pick for Lee, Lance, and the 9th. Memphis is trying to win now and both would be solid additions. Parsons is Noah bad at this point.
I've leave it up to Perry.

Naa Spurs would like to keep the 18 to replace Kawhi and Dejounte will leave a gaping hole
