His defense tho...

I do think the offense could translate and could see him successfully be a microwave sub type player. The Euro Lou Williams.

That production is good value for a pick in the late teens IMO.

The 1% chance that this is just the beginning is what’s got me all hot and bothered

So if he's still on the board when the Knicks go on the clock, we have 5 minutes before we pick to work him out and see if he "checks out physically." That seems...challenging.

Or are you saying we should pick him and then work him out to see if he checks out physically? That seems...backwards.

By the way, I would love to take Porter Jr. at #9 if he falls to us, but I'm just confused by your post.

I was confused as well. Not sure if I'd take Porter over Knox right now though. This just has Gallinari written all over it.

Musa was an equal rival to Doncic when they were 15.

Really? Damn. How much hype does he have overseas?

I see us staying put at 9 & 36. Y'all just have to accept reality instead of coming up with these ridiculous trade scenarios.

So you know for sure that those 3 teams are taking back the contract in the process or are you just talking out of your ass? A salary that constitutes about 25% of the whole cap that is dead money, all 3 of them are willing to swallow it?

It's a simple question I'm asking about the contract and if they want to trade it without the contract, there will be many more teams interested in it.

I'm not the one talking out of my ass here buddy. They are fine with keeping the pick and getting a top prospect. It's pretty damn obvious that the contract has to be included in any sort of trade discussions. Don't really know where you're getting at here.

Read on Twitter

That's their choice if they want but I asked how many teams are willing to eat the contract and offer a top 10 pick, you acted as if you knew what's being said in those phone calls and which teams are taking the contract. You don't, "buddy".
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

Knox better signal a true rebuild because he is going to need some time. I don't want them to pick Knox then start talking about playoffs next year. Knox has a lot of potential but he is raw as hell. I think he might be more of a project than Frank honestly.

4/5 our starting lineup/core will be via the draft and under 25. Add Kyrie to that core and retain Burke to be our 6 god. 2019 is going to be the year we're back.

There isnt a player we could take at 9 or anywhere in this draft that would get us to the playoffs next year. thats why i like knox, huge upside and we have the time to let him develop

Kentucky players have a general knack for translating well to the NBA. If Perry thinks Knox at 21 is going to be better than Mikal is now, I'm fine with the pick. It's almost impossible to project any of these players, and they have done due diligence so you have to trust the pick. 18 year old 6'9'' forward who can shoot and has a ton of room to grow, I'm intrigued. Don't underestimate that Kentucky pedigree either. He also seems to be a high character player that Perry and Fizdale would want.

the grizzlies would be insane to trade the 4th pick in this draft

however they have a ton of pressure we dont

they have a high payroll, an aging team of guys like conley and gasol, and a low turnout equalling a team that doesn't even break even in cost.

Parsons must be a nightmare for them.

that said if they have any serious intention of winning with Conley and Gasol they need to keep that pick

but Im more than happy to eat any contract we have to to get it

Ill take parsons and 4 for thomas, lee, 36 and cash. Id package 4 and Mudiay or Burke and a 2nd next year or whatever for 2 and let the kings get Porter and us get Luca

hold frank if we can, hold the 9th if we can, get luca if we can, and most of all hold future picks if we can

pick luca and Knox and we have a new team

Knicks can't wait to blow all their cap space on a star who is injury prone. Never change Knicks.
