I don't know if it's that necessary to have both, but at least one of the two.

Hell, if you can do both as a big man you're one damn good player and probably at least a fringe All-Star.

Right now, yes. Two to three years down the line? Necessary. The NBA has been evolving at a rapid pace over the past few seasons with the increasing importance of spacing and ball movement.

The idea of all of this is to be ahead of the curve and have your pieces in place first rather than adjusting to what the rest of the league is already doing. To me, more than anything, it seems as if it's a natural evolution of what's happening already. You're going to have your Gobert exceptions, but for the most part I think this is the way the league is going to go.

Milwaukee (17) wants more picks.

I'd trade #17 to Philly for Fultz and #26.

Maybe Horst will pull a Gutekunst.....Trade down for a 2019 first and still get the player we want?

Rather see the trade ups though.

That would make sense since some of the are mocked for the 2nd round. Why lock into them for 4 years like DJ Wilson.

I think there will always be a place for defending, rebounding, rim-running bigs. Especially if you can cover the spacing and ball movement with three or four of the other guys on the court. Don't disagree with your point about the evolution of the game though. The acceleration of that process has been incredible.

Bledsoe/17 for that package would be a massive overpay. The nuggets wouldn't be able to accept this offer fast enough.

Philadelphia would laugh in your face and hang up the phone. Do you really think they’re going to give up on the number one overall pick one year into his career?

I think they might trade him. Certainly not in any sort of trade like this one.

If we somehow did Bled and 17 for Hill and 8, I am very worried about who we might pick.

I can't believe the NBA and other GMs are separating us from additional picks!

Drafting Donte would be such a DJ Wilson pick. Their college production are eerily similar with of course the big couple games at the end.

This post intrigued me to look at their stats. I don't agree with your assessment.

Junior Year DJ Wilson -- 30 mpg, 11 points, 54% FG, 37.3 % 3FG%, 5.3 REB, 1.5 Block.

Junior Year Donte DiVincenzo -- 29.3 mpg, 13.4 points, 48% FG, 40.1 % 3FG%, 3.5 Assist, 2.0 TO.

Not that far apart. There are younger players with better production at #17.

Would **** the bed if they could get 8 for bledsoe, but whom would they have to take back?

side note: interesting use of '**** the bed' here

That is what i am afraid of. would really not want JR.

Looking back I agree its not enough. What else do you think we would have to include? Brogdon?

Wouldn't hate Grayson. He will have a tenure of contribution. Normally dreaming for the sky, but the 4 year know on commodity wouldn't be awful to me. If he can hit an open corner 3 more than like 3 times in a 7 game series, he will be better than Snell.

I am rooting for Tony though, stop sucking Tony.

MOVE UPPPPPPP. If you want an extra pick use the 3.3mil we have and buy a 2nd rd pick in the low 40s or so. Other than that. MOVE UPPPPPPP

Has Lasry leaked a pic of the Bucks draft board yet?
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Given the link below, it seems Fultz could be had for a reasonable price. If there's someone at 17 that Philly likes, maybe something like Thon/DJ/Zeller/Jennings/17 for Fultz/26 or 38. Philly moves up while getting some big man depth/non-guaranteed contracts. Bucks take a shot on Fultz and hope he gets mentally un-f'ed and, at either 26 or 38, take a run at Mitchell Robinson.

I'd trade 17 for Fultz straight-up. Don't think Philly bites on that, though.
