Some people are not getting that. It would close the celtics chances of ever getting out of the east for the next 4 to 5 years.

People are really not getting that the Lakers won't miss an opportunity to add Lebron James and Kawhi Leonard (especially now that PG is unavailable). They're just trying to do it without selling the farm. But, if one of us or Philly pushes our chips in and forces them to, they will.

That's where Lebron and Kawhi want to be. Kawhi won't give a different team an indication that he'll resign. A Tatum or a Simmons would have to come on the table for there to be any real chance of a different outcome, which just won't happen without a commitment from Kawhi.

Any noise you hear about us or Philly making serious headway is 100% posturing to crack LA's coffers open.

Danny knows this. Spurs can now hold Danny’s balls and demand Tatum or deal with SuperTeam and not coming out aive in the next 5 yrs.

That’s probably how it ends, but if Lakers maintain ability to get to max cap room in 2019, it gets very dicey for the Spurs.

Gordon Hayward is a star, the guy was comparable to Jimmy Butler and PG13 before his injury.

Horford is an all-star. Tatum and Brown both have star potential and were key to a conference finals run last year.

We've got a stacked roster if we get healthy and the young guys continue to develop. The Rockets pushed the Warriors to 7 games, and we're significantly better than them.

We could end up with Lebron in LA without Kawhi as well. Easy money has Spurs caving but I still say this whole scenario plays out with some strange unknown hitch.

Celtics shouldn't engage with the spurs. It is a waste of time already. They are not really serious about getting kawhi leonard. It shows with what they are offering. I am not saying they should offer this, but if what they are offering doesn't include Kyrie Irving, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Gordon Hayward, then move on.

I live for this ****. I love the offseason of nba as much as I do the nfl.

I one time over reacted badly on danny for trading the first overall pick and I couldnt of been more wrong. I'll never do it again and while still will disagree with danny if I feel like it's the wrong move I will trust him fully that hes making the right deal.

I think we're all just excited because the relevance us back and even the moves that dont involve us affect us because we know we finals or bust going forward.

Pretty much Jaylen and the Kings pick is better than anything the Lakers have/can offer. Also we will have to add more to make salaries match, cause only half of Smart's money will count, right?

That being said, I don't want Kawhi who's full 6 years older than Brown. Rather keep this unique situation going, especially with Kawhi not committing.
