What are the Kings thinking here though, he's injury prone for 1, 2 you have 2 starting S.G's already, like you need another one. Chicago should aim for an S&T and get Buddy Hield or something (cause Sacramento does not need 3 S.G's).
We don’t think. We just go. There hasn’t been any thought since Vivek came and even more since Vlade made the decisions.

LaVine won this I thought he was 15-17

you can still have good games in the decline, look at kobe's last game in his career

Vlade is so overmatched... even during his career I though he was a smart player but not a smart person... you need someone with some business acumen to run an organization.... vlade strikes me as a guy who when he thinks of NBA he thinks of the women after the game in the velvet lounge... every decision is based around sex appeal instead of basketball

He however checks a lot of boxes in a player you want. Besides the injury.
20 a year kinda makes him untradable. If not for that a good signing.

I don't know, this might be a more calculated than previously thought. It sounds like if the Bulls match they are in a tough spot to take on salary with assets attached, which was just reported something the Kings are looking at doing. They might have just eliminated their competition.

19ppg/7 3s per game/ 40% from 3 while being one of the most athletic players in the league. That was his age 21-22 year. Had he not got injured then he easily is worth this money. If he gets healthy and reverts back to that...
WCS/Giles
Bagley/Skal
Bogdan/Jackson
Lavine/Hield
Fox/Lavine
Could be an exciting run up and down group that just tries to outscore everyone.
That said I'm praying that Chicago matches!!!
Rocketsbaby wrote:I would have given him 1/$3.5 as a "prove it" contract before committing to a guy who seemingly has no ability to play basketball.
But based on the last several drafts I can see the KIngs have no interest in winning anyway...
Lavine will fit right in with career losers Bagley, Fox, Jackson, Skal, Giles, etc.... Instead of going the "has been" route with Randolph and Vince Carter... they've fully embraced the "never was" angle.
Buddy Hield deserves to be traded to a franchise that cares about winning 35+ games
