Have the Bucks considered Leonard? I find it weird their team never comes up. Put him with Yiannis and you get a very good duo?
I know it has come up the problem is if you made a list of places guys who are frustrated by their sneaker deal want to play MIL is probably worse than SA add to that it Giannis is already the face of the franchise and there is zero chance that Leonard has any interest in being there.
i thought Yiannis is killing it atm in terms of jersey / shoes sales. Sorry could be wrong. I know milwakee doesn't sound like california or new york. But Frankly i think you often find players who are more than the franchise. In that respect both greek freak and Kahway can be that. And Bucks could probably make the deal work financially / salary / trade wise.
Not routing for 'fear the deer' btw. I'm just perplexed as to no team in the east other than Philly (and to a lesser extent Boston and Toronto apparently!)
Giannis is killing it and has his own shoe and it sounds like a better deal than Leonard. But if he is wary of sharing LA with Lebron no way he is sharing MIL with Giannis. This isn't going to go well so in some ways it might be better to just stay out of it. Leonard is basically taking on real FA and sneaker FA at the same time next year and it is probably going to end badly for him because he is going to take a pretty big PR hit so he isn't going to get the shoe offers he is expecting and if he screws with Nike enough they might pull the deal they already offered.
What basically is going on is Leonard is pissing away a 5 year 205 mil dollar contract so he can sign a 4 year 136 mil contract (or 5 years 166 mil) because he wants 5 mil more a year on sneaker deal. What is the point of giving up $40 mil to get $20 mil especially when it won't work? I still think this just ends with Leonard re-signing with the Spurs because it is such a **** show nobody is going to want to get involved.
