8 APG next to LeBron and Rondo, with Ingram and a couple others also handling the ball and Magic emphasizing multiple ball handlers? Seems awfully optimistic, just as the 9 RPG under those circumstances. I believe it when I see it.
I meant 9 assists and 8 rebs per game. If Lonzo plays like last year and the team has more shooters with the removal of Lopez, IT, Clarkson, I think Lonzo can easily get 2 more assists per game. All he has to do is pass it to LeBron and let him close.
As for rebs, I expect Lakers to play more small ball and that means Lonzo will be aggressive grabbing rebounds and hitting TD passes to LeBron and others.
The higher shooting % and stronger frame will allow him to play more physical and stay on the floor longer. I expect Lonzo to calm down mentally a lot after the crazy pace as a freshman and get closer to college numbers in 3 point and hit just under 70% from FTs.
