The same way the lakers will look if Mozgov and Deng make the allstar game next year.

You mean the window that never existed?

But the word 'almost' is key here. Carmelo over 20 mins/game is a guaranteed negative.

Ironically, by far the bigger problem HOU had against GSW last year was HOU's offense.
actually the biggest problem vs gsw were the refs and the health...i hope morey is signing foster and brothers under the table while cp3 is learning from harden how to stay healthy

Don't have a clue at this point, hurts that you guys took Luc back from us. Don't understand why he didn't sign him with our MLE (perhaps we weren't aware Melo was getting a full buyout at the time and couldn't guarantee Luc the money).
Many Rocket fans are assuming we will give D.Melton a 3-year deal, which would reduce our taxpayers MLE to 4.3 million. We also have I.Hartenstein, who we intend on signing, there is potential that he could get a 3-year deal as well.
After all the years, would still like to kick the tires on Llull if we could. The remaining free agent market is very dry. If we gave both Melton and Hartenstein 3-years deal, I would love to offer Nogueria a 2/7 deal (with an NG/team option for the 2nd year). We could still very much use a 3rd center with Nene being rather injury prone at his age.
Then, of course, there is always the option of waiting for buyouts or chasing other overseas players.

Part of it will be used on De'Anthony Melton so that we can lock him up for three years and have him be restricted/team option for a fourth year. The rest will be used on a buyout player during the season.
