Don't have as much time to make the thread this year, so no Pep turtleneck graphs, apologies for the brevity!

Fixture list will be released around 2 weeks from now on June 14th.

The newly promoted teams set to compete in next season's Premier League are Wolverhampton Wanderers, Cardiff City and Fulham. Premier League teams representing England in Europe are Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool in the Champions League. Chelsea, Arsenal and Burnley in the Europa League.

Can you make a pool of who is winning EPL next season and which team of the underdogs will have the best season ?

This summer will be interesting. How much will Man City improve again? Will ManU make waves? Will Tottenham keep their core together and add to it? Can Liverpool add depth and get a keeper? Will Chelsea lose key players like Courtois and Hazard? Can Arsenal attract top level talent with a new manager and no CL?

Arsenal will benefit from its reduced fixture list but they have a lot of salary on the books. Which way they go could really impact things for the other big 6.

Sure. If people want to add predictions here, they're welcome to. I'll make a tally of them.

I predict Man City to win the league again, and for Fulham to be the underdog having the best season. If they keep Sessegnon and improve their back four they will push for a top half finish, imo.

I don't anticipate things changing too much this season, but who knows? Liverpool and Man United will be a little closer to City I'd guess, but still not close enough to challenge City meaningfully. Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal will likely battle it out for top four, but I'd give Spurs the nod out of those three.

I think the only thing possibly threatening City is complacency, and I can't see that being too much of a factor with a coach like Pep at the helm. Their core is young, De Bruyne is still reaching the peak of his powers, Jesus is becoming a fantastic player, Sane and Sterling are still young. The idea of those players maintaining their upward trajectory is a really scary prospect.

I think the big question is if Chelsea and Arsenal reload effectively. In every other big league, its virtually guaranteed that the big gun team(s) will make CL (PSG, Barca, Real, Bayern, Juve). In the prem, two of the big 6 don't make it virtually every year. If those two that miss it don't rebound, suddenly top 4 becomes easier and the teams making it will cement their position. I think Chelsea will be OK but Arsenal is wobbling a little bit. While I think highly of Emery, he may be an absolute worst fit here.

I tend to agree that Man City may be beyond reach. They are going to add to a young team that dominated the league. Unless a bunch of teams figure them out or they have a huge run of injuries, they will walk to the title again next year.

Regarding Chelsea, there is a lot of commotion about Abramovich's UK visa situation. Supposedly, he's unwilling to invest the billions needed to fund Chelsea's new stadium in a country he's unable to work in. That's a major hindrance to Chelsea's long-term plans. There's also the uncertainty of Conte's future. But you know Chelsea, they seem to love alternating between good and bad seasons.

I agree fully regarding Arsenal. Emery has a job on his hands.

Mancs to win the league
Wolves to be the surprise underdogs
Huddersfield, Cardiff and possibly Brighton to be relegated*
Leicester to finish in the top 7.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

With the Arse in a transitional phase and Chlsea looking like imploding maybe the top 4 is decided and small euorpean competition places are open for everyone else in the prem.

City looking crazy dominant in the Community Shield, as expected. 2-0 up at the moment. Chelsea look lost at sea.

This season may belong to Tottenham. They did not make any transfers, which does not mean that it is against the cocks.

Easy win for M.City, Pool and Spurs in CL then is really hard to predict the other spot:
ManUn seems in caos, Sarri is a great coach but Chelsea's squad is full of hole, Arsenal is on the right track.

City
Pool
Spurs
Arsenal
Chelsea

10th United (implosion)

Fine, fine. Premier League is finally back today... unless you're in Asia, in which case it's early AM tomorrow.
