Arsenal will benefit from its reduced fixture list but they have a lot of salary on the books. Which way they go could really impact things for the other big 6.
I don't anticipate things changing too much this season, but who knows? Liverpool and Man United will be a little closer to City I'd guess, but still not close enough to challenge City meaningfully. Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal will likely battle it out for top four, but I'd give Spurs the nod out of those three.
I think the only thing possibly threatening City is complacency, and I can't see that being too much of a factor with a coach like Pep at the helm. Their core is young, De Bruyne is still reaching the peak of his powers, Jesus is becoming a fantastic player, Sane and Sterling are still young. The idea of those players maintaining their upward trajectory is a really scary prospect.
