I don't hate this move in a vacuum but considering what McD gave up for Knight and Chriss isn't this like getting super drunk and puking on the floor then getting credit for cleaning it up the next morning.

LOL I was trying to decide if he was serious and then saw your post. We trade an unprotected Lakers pick, Bogdanovic, and two other first rounders (13 and 28) for a bloated Ryan Anderson contract and the 46th pick.

I agree looking back - it’s hortible. But I am glad the Suns didn’t think they needed to keep Chriss and Knight to make it seem like those deals were working but costs are sunk so move ahead.

Now I don’t like seeing how little the Suns got but whatever. The Suns Core4 are Booker Ayton Jackson and Bridges - Okobo , Melton , Warren , whomever moving forward.

I agree you gotta cut bait and realize a sunk cost and move on.

You say as if that's a bad thing. JJ stinks. Chalk it up to yet another bad draft pick just like Chriss, Bender, and now JJ. I'll take most opposing team starting PG's for JJ any day.

you stink. JJ just needs to learn to shoot.

:lol: I did not shower today, actually. And yes, JJ plays WAY better ball than me for sure, I'm not in the pros

Absolutely. This is similar to firing Watson last year; its was the right move but didn't change the fact that hiring him in the first place was the bad decision. At some point McD needs to be held accountable.

I don't think we'd trade him unless we were 100% sure Kyrie is coming back. Which we aren't.

We definitely are optimistic, especially with Woj/Shams saying they believe we're the favorites for him in free agency, but you can't be 100% sure. So you bring Terry into the offseason just to make sure, if Kyrie stays then Terry leaves. If Kyrie leaves, then Terry stays.

Very true. This is his year to get the team on track. I think he is signed through 2020 so basically if they stink this year, only one year of eating his contract.

I still believe the smartest move we could make is going after PatBev.

Two things McD consistently does:
1) move on from sunk costs
2) bring in pieces he think will help us win, regardless of how it affects chemistry

We can’t afford to settle, so I’m happy that those are patterns.

Lol. Remember the draft when he would "report" something and a minute later he was proven wrong?

He can be right at times....that is, when he copies WOJ's tweets and tweets them out as if they are his own.

How many negatives are in that statement? I had to read it twice just to see if we have a chance or not. :D

A few times was said around the draft that Bender was McD's pick and Chriss was Watson's pick.

If that's true McD hired Watson so he gets to own the Chriss mistake. Sarver gets to own all the mistakes because he employed the people making them.

Yeah, I would offer them Troy Daniels, Mil pick and a 2nd.

Really? I like Berverly well enough but I'm not giving up a 1st rounder for 1 year of him. It's not like he's going to put them over the top into contention or anything. Hell just sign him for free next summer.

I am starting to think that Ryan McD should be fired.... why make the deal last night without knowing if we could get a solid point guard in return somewhere else.

Now we are screwed ...

Re-create a better version of the 2016 Houston Rockets.

PG: PatBev ------> PatBev
SG: Harden ------> Booker
SF: Ariza ------> Ariza
PF: Anderson ------> Anderson
C: Capela ------> Ayton

NOT sure how screwed. Suns needed a PG yesterday

Ryan has not done a good job but this doesn’t put the Suns over a barrel .

The Milwaukee pick is worth nothing until we trade it and it becomes one of the best assets in the league. Just like Chriss was a bust until he went to a contender. Just like Knight was the worst point guard in the league coming off a torn ACL until we traded him.

Still not interested in Terry Rozier.
