3 years at 80M might get it done. Maybe an inverse contract like Gordons: say 30M, 27M, 23M. That deal is a tradeable contract if Bamba comes on in 2020/21.

I'd like to see how well he plays off the bench and if he does well, then I'm all for signing him to a multi-year here with the expectation he'll eventually come off the bench if/when Bamba starts going nuts on the stat sheets.

Yeah and Vooch in his PRIME would want/agree to come off the bench?
Logic on holidays.
Lol this is so true. Vuc the goat

Vučević has his scoring average over 20 ppg. The Magic has not had a 20 ppg player over the course of this rebuild and this could be a real indicator of ending the rebuild. The 2011/12 season with Howard's 20.6 ppg seems so long ago!

No way Vuc isn't resigned if we keep on this .500 pace.

The crazy thing is that I don't think Vuc is showing anything he hasn't shown us in years past. Good coaching makes such a huge difference.

Vuc got folk talking about us (and him for allstar). Not trying to be Puffy Mcgruffy but maybe we should just wait and see.

nope, people were singing similar tunes last season. about how that was the best vuc ever, and how he had renaissance or something. you just forgot.

Literally at the very start of the season when he was hitting 3's. That's all. Last season he shot 47% from the field, 31% from 3 and got to the line 1.6 times a game as a 7 footer. People were not happy with his play or attitude.

don't know, i think that attitude thing might be a pet peeve of yours. for all the people who are complaining about vuc, I've seen so few people mentioning his attitude. his game took a dive after his injury and we threw the towel, but that doesn't change the fact it was still his best season by lots of different metrics. your original point of him getting worse every season has little to no truth in it.

That whole "attitude" thing is in their one page anti vuc manual because its all they have. He said:
“I spoke to Frank [Vogel] about it last night, and obviously I wasn’t happy with the decision they made,” said Vucevic. “I didn’t think that there was a reason for me to go to the bench, but it’s coaches decision. All I can do is control what I can control, which is when I’m on the court, play to the best of my ability and help the team win. Stay professional and whatever is going on, I’ll keep giving my best and give them my full effort.”
He didn't like coming off the bench behind a piece of garbage player, was asked about it, and answered honestly and of course they latched onto that like flies to ****, and spun like he was cancerous to the team regardless of the fact that he still played well, and we were significantly worse with Biz. Two years later they're still grasping at straws talking about "attitude".

Yeah his 3pt % will come down but the increased volume pulls him away from his love of long twos and he's clearly buying into passing the ball more often. I don't see why he can't continue at close to this level unless it's a loss of motivation and effort

The attitude I'm talking about is actually his on court attitude. You know, the pouting, the hanging his head, arguing with teammates, the outward shows of frustration when things start going bad. Of course you don't see that because you think the sun shines out of his ass. I've never seen you say a critical word about him ever. Do you see people criticising his play this year? Nope. We criticise only when he deserves it. Just enjoy his great play this season and stop looking for things to be mad at.
