nope, people were singing similar tunes last season. about how that was the best vuc ever, and how he had renaissance or something. you just forgot.
Literally at the very start of the season when he was hitting 3's. That's all. Last season he shot 47% from the field, 31% from 3 and got to the line 1.6 times a game as a 7 footer. People were not happy with his play or attitude.
don't know, i think that attitude thing might be a pet peeve of yours. for all the people who are complaining about vuc, I've seen so few people mentioning his attitude. his game took a dive after his injury and we threw the towel, but that doesn't change the fact it was still his best season by lots of different metrics. your original point of him getting worse every season has little to no truth in it.
That whole "attitude" thing is in their one page anti vuc manual because its all they have. He said:
“I spoke to Frank [Vogel] about it last night, and obviously I wasn’t happy with the decision they made,” said Vucevic. “I didn’t think that there was a reason for me to go to the bench, but it’s coaches decision. All I can do is control what I can control, which is when I’m on the court, play to the best of my ability and help the team win. Stay professional and whatever is going on, I’ll keep giving my best and give them my full effort.”
He didn't like coming off the bench behind a piece of garbage player, was asked about it, and answered honestly and of course they latched onto that like flies to ****, and spun like he was cancerous to the team regardless of the fact that he still played well, and we were significantly worse with Biz. Two years later they're still grasping at straws talking about "attitude".
