Novocaine wrote:I love this pick for you guys. Top-10 talent in this draft, IMO. Great motor, great athlete, untapped potential offensively. He was uber dominant even if played against low level comp. But he'd raise his game against the best teams in the schedule, fwiw.
Can defend 3 or 4 positions in the NBA, I think. He's like Mbah-a-Moute before the injuries but with a softer touch, better hands, and more explosive.
I think he has Ibaka potential.

If Masai thought Skal and Davis weren't worth a pick, I don't have any issue with that. This guy looks promising.

"Fans"? Which "fans"? There are 1000s of us my guess is we are wrong way more often than we are right.Wo1verine wrote:CoachD wrote:Wo1verine wrote:It's all random sometimes management is correct sometimes the majority of the fan base is
Um no.
I can name way more times when fans got it wrong, and the team was right than the opposite.
- How about when Raptor fans booed Stoudamire cuz they wanted Ed O'Bannon?
- How about when Knicks fans booed Porzingis?
I could go on and on and on....
That's incorrect statement - All you have to do is read the draft threads. Fans are correct way more than you think.
Masai or any GM for that matter have been wrong lots.

I feel like 20 mil per season isn't unreasonable if he improves a little more.
