I’m talking efficient scoring.
Not style of play.
I don’t see KD either.
So every inefficient shot is a Melo shot? Cool. Now move on.
On this board? Yeah.
As I said before. Either we want efficient players or we don’t.
Replace Melo with Timmy. Same rules apply. One of Timmy biggest knocks is his utter lack of efficiency.
People literally call dude a female. Knox is literally shooting worse from the field. Rookie or not efficiency should be a concern.

Kanter is a really efficient scorer, is this the type of player we should be building around or can we get a Kobe
Kanter is a back to the basket big that slows the game down and has tunnel vision...who also can’t guard a chair.
Melo was also a player who slowed down the game and had tunnel vision..who also couldn't guard a chair.

You know we don't talk about games here
But in all seriousness, I'm really glad that Knox was able to get his 30 point game out of the way, sh*t frustrated me so much with KP his rookie year. I'm not a fan of him getting so many minutes, especially when Mario wasn't playing too badly, but he got 30 so it all works out imo
I think it shows the potential we have when KP gets back of a 1-2 punch of them two, I'm still not quite sold on either of them being true #1 guys, but KP's definitely shown the potential before, and I think we saw a glimpse of Knox's potential today. One of the biggest knocks on him was going up weak and settling for floaters, but he was taking it to the rim strong today. He adds some weight, gets his strength down, and we got ourselves a gem
Also, his defense has been improving to my eye test recently. He's still not good, but at least he looks like he has played basketball before on that end now, so that's a plus too

Just roll the ball out and let the kids cook. THJ Kanter Burke just hold the youngsters back
And the guy we got because we didn't tank hard enough - Knox- he's pretty good too.

Progression as a rookie is certainly good and it is evident. Knox scoring ability was well known so to see it developing is welcome but of course not a surprise. Certainly want him to care on defense. He had moments of yay and nay there.

Is your point that you think what Knox has done should make me think it’s good we didn’t land Doncic?
Knicks never take who I want and I still support the kids. Frank wasn’t my guy (DSJ) but I’m one of the few left on Ntilikina island. Hell im still here caping for WHG.

It wasn’t just Knox’s play. The whole team played a better style of ball. It was liberating for Knox. It also helped Kornet. And I loved seeing how frustrated it made Enbiid to be dragged out to the three point arc on defense.
