Anyways, by the time the NBA draft comes I hope we can end up with Zion and Bol Bol. Having Bol at center I think would allow us to at least try playing Zion at SF. If we get the #1 pick, Zion has to be the choice, but I also want Collins to be a PF practically full time. So in order to make that work we'd need a center who can be useful standing on the 3 point line and still present defensive value: enter Bol Bol.
Projectable is always going to be a big factor. This draft is not projectable
I disagree. There's gotta be at least 10 wings in this draft who project to be starters in the future. Which is a big deal considering how hard it is to find wing players who can score and defend their own position. Barrett, Reddish, Hachimura, K. Johnson, Culver, Little, Langford, Hunter, Alexander-Walker, Okpala and Doumbouya have a lot of positives to work with. They of course are flawed but in the right situation they could all become great players.
There are a few big men who provide some value defensive value and could develop further offensively. Gafford, Hayes, Fernando, Porter, hell even Naz Reid outside the lottery would be solid picks for a team wanting a center that could be developed. Morant has exploded at PG, and there are probably a few more players who will make a name for themselves. International class seems to be week, but as far as the Hawks are concerned this is a good draft for us to have multiple lottery picks in (hopefully).
