Holiday and Mirotic should become interesting options for the Raps.
I would get those 2 especially Holiday and pair with Lowry.

Every team will want in on this. I could see Sacramento, Denver and Portland being potential competitors on the market. Could you imagine Jokic and Davis together?? What about Lilard and Davis?? This will get pretty exciting over the next little while.
There is no "maybe"...the Lakers must offer the farm in the hopes to persuade NOP to not wait until the off-season for BOS to join the party because if they do, there's no package they can put together to beat what BOS can create. This is also with Woj reporting that NOP isn't in love with the Lakers' pieces so yeah it's gonna cost them (nvm Lakers "conveniently" leaking that they were willing to trade ALL of their young guys for a superstar just last week).
It doesn't matter what the Lakers offer. None of it adds up to Anthony Davis.

We have to remember that MLSE won’t be interested in tanking for a longtime. They want a marketable product out there and with the Leafs doing well, a few years of tanking could set this franchise back in terms of market share of casual fans. Bottom line is that there are too many organizational road blocks for the Raptors to offer a decent package for Davis.

He's the youngest and yet by far the most skilled already. He looks to have a similar career projection to be like Paul George which is greater than either Kuzma or Pascal. But I sure as hell pray that NOP would even consider trading with us since as it stands now BOS can't even make a trade until the off-season.

What are you talking about? Masai has already risked the future with trading Demar for Kawhi someone who my not stick around. This is the same scenario as last year and the great thing is he kept assets like Pascal, OG, Norm and Delon, JV who he can traded for a player like Davis.
We are in prime position to make a decent offer. It may not be the best offer but it can definitely be a compelling one. Where we lack is first round picks that are higher and both Boston and LA will have better picks to give and we can't give closer picks either as we can only trade our 2021 and 2023 FRP's.

We can agree to disagree, which is fine. I see him positioning the franchise for a future rebuild. He got DeMar off the books for next season. There are many writers that have put forth the same thoughts about this as well.

Would give my left arm and right nut, plus my future 1st childs naming rights to see AD & Kawhi together in a Raptors Uniform.
Ibaka, Siakam, OG, Delon + 2 future 1st for AD & possible Filler
Lowry, Green, Kawhi, *Filler*, AD
FVV, McCaw, Norm, Miles/Boucher, JV (Monroe as injury backup)
In playoffs
Lowry, Green, Kawhi, AD, JV, FVV, Norm, McCaw, Filler if they are make a difference for us (tight 9 - 10 man rotation).
We lose a bit of length but this squad could have the best chance to beat the Warriors.
At the end of the day though, I think he's teaming up with LABron. So this is all just fanservice but a pipe dream.
If Masai could finesse a trade though, he needs to get a statue and the city should be renamed as Masaironto.

True, Bosh was the biggest stab in the back we got as a franchise.
This is what I've been saying, but alot of people forget Bosh left us with nothing in return.
u go for it imo...having the opportunity to asd Davis to a roster with Kyle Kawhi green Ibaka is a no brainer if u have to give up a pascal and og and a couple more assets. We are trying to win a championship, not rebuild and continue to hope to have an opportunity to be in this position.Fairview4Life wrote:Cool-Hand-Luke wrote:SurgeIblocka wrote:

He positioned the team for a rebuild while improving the chances of winning something this year. We'd still be in that position if we could somehow trade for AD to pair with Kawhi. There'd just be a much higher chance of winning something this season.
I love Pascal, but not having him around for a rebuild isn't the end of the world. There are going to be some painful years restocking, more than likely, regardless of his development.
