Good grief. This team's issues goes waaay beyond just Wall. Yes we move the ball better without him, but it sure as hell doesn't mean we're going to be winning a substantial amount more games. We're still more or less the same team. You stick Wall up as the boogie man and root of all evil. Such a lazy and simplistic way of viewing things.
Lol at Beal essentially saying they couldn't get up for Cleveland. The Wiz actually had a trap game.

Btw, Cam Reddish... seriously? He's shooting 35% for Duke and shows all the intensity of a fish taking a nap.
I didn't realize Reddish was shooting that poorly.
Reddish imo is a much better shooter than his numbers (similar case to Beal at Florida)
Personally I believe that Duke's style of play isn't doing him any favors, the team doesn't know how to get him the ball in his spots where he can be efficient..
In my opinion Reddish is the exact type of prospect who is better suited for the NBA than NCAA, he has the size + strength to play multiple positions and you can easily imagine him succeeding next to more talented NBA players as glue guy. He's actually similar to Otto Porter in many ways - but the key differences are 1) Otto was never able to develop his body to matchup with physical forwards. Reddish seems like he can eventually have a strong , Harrison Barnes-type of frame.
2) Otto always shied away from taking on a greater offensive role, it's just not in his personality to be "the man".. Reddish has a track record in HS/AAU of being a bigtime talented scorer, I think he's second-guessing himself at Duke bc he's overshadowed by Zion + Reddish. In the right situation , I believe you could bring that aggression out of him and he could reach his offensive ceiling.
The other guy I would look at around our draft range is Jarrett Culver, smooth all-around wing player from Texas . If the Wizards can come away with either Culver or Barrett in the draft I'll be happy.
