LAC/PHI/ORL/WAS - Who Says No?

Post#1 » by SportsFan215 » Tue Feb 5, 2019 4:37 am

Clippers Get: Chandler/Muscala/Ariza/Grant/‘19 First from PHI (Top 20 Protected)/‘20 OKC First/‘19 CLE Second
Clippers Give: Gallinari/Harrell/Beverly

Why? The Clippers are in NBA purgatory right now and need to go all in for this summer. They clear room for 2 max contracts and gather more picks for a possible run at AD.

Sixers Get: Gallinari/Harrell/Beverly
Sixers Give: Chandler/Muscala/Fultz/‘19 First (Top 20 Protected)

Why? This gives the Sixers some get depth in the areas they need it the most heading into the playoffs without giving up too much in return.

Magic Get: Fultz
Magic Give: Simmons/Grant/‘20 OKC First/‘19 CLE Second

Why? The Magic take a gamble on Fultz in a low pressure environment. I got this idea from here where this exact deal from the Magic’s perspective seemed to be offered: viewtopic.php?t=1779224

Wizards Get: Simmons
Wizards Give: Ariza

Why? They get out of the tax without having to give up any picks to do so. They would probably just cut Simmons for $1M after the season.

That's seems like too much for Fultz from Orlando, I'd drop the Cleveland 2nd or change it the worst of 32nd rounders we have this year

Seems way too good for the Clippers from where I sit. Don’t see Orlando or Philadelphia being interested.

I'd want more than that for Ariza if I were the Wizards.

The Sixers are not taking on Gallo's contract.

the plan is to get as good as quickly as possible....I fully believe we could have been a borderline playoff team last year by adding young veterans....using or draft picks and cap space.....can I specifically tell you who? no.

What about something more simplified:

Clippers Get: J. Simmons/Grant/‘19 First from PHI (Top 20 Protected)/‘20 First from OKC
Clippers Give: Harrell/Beverly

Sixers Get: Harrell/Beverly
Sixers Give: Fultz/‘19 First (Top 20 Protected)

Magic Get: Fultz
Magic Give: Simmons/Grant/‘20 OKC First

I like Ross for Fultz straight up for Orlando better.
