You are annoying my man. You have depeated at least 5 x that Lakers are getting AD at trade deadline.

The Pelicans are holding out for Tatum and we’re gonna comply. Rightfully so
You dont care that a walking injury doesnt want to be here?
You'll feel good when he leaves for the lakers anyway?
Nope

He wont. Let's wager.
How about instead of a wager that will never be consummated you just sig quote yourself today the date it happened and then we'll see it now and all summer until a conclusion one way or another.
That's really the much smarter approach for people to take here instead of saying 'I was always this or that and I was willing to bet money on it' when no one else is going ot remember you. Just sig quote yourself and link to this page on this thread in it.
That said Porzings or whatever the Unicorn only wants to play for the top markets in the league too.
I think it's a good bet by Ainge here to still trade for Davis, if EVERY player wants to play for the 2 NY teams and the 4 CA teams (assuming Kings are one of them they want to play for)... there's only so many max roster spots on those teams.
Let's wait this out, trade for Davis and lets see if when it comes time for Davis to leave if we can somehow manage Irving to resign even for a 1+1 deal (which I'm guessing is what he'll demand in the off season with Davis on the roster becuase he's not locking himself in any situation)... then it may come down to... resign in Boston potentially with Irving or sign with a potentially lesser roster for the Nets or some ****.
Lots can change in a season, and if you're not playing to get an MVP level talent on your team you're not playing to win so **** it. We''ll rise or burn quickly or both.
Why am I changing my sig now for something I already feel strongly about.

Lakers are saying they won’t put that offer back on the table but I am sure they would.

You have no sig right now, but okay.
Just letting you know no one will wager with you because no one ever does. That sounds like 5th grade **** of "lets fight at recess" . It's a meaningless statement.
But if you feel that strongly about it and want to brag later when it happens that would be the right way to go about it. Keep it on your sig as your stance with a direct link to your statement in this thread so you too can start a "Smart hattteerrrsss" styled thread later on too and no one can say you didn't feel that way since it was an opinion you repeated everytime you posted by having it as your sig.

Looks like it's going the way of predicting over and over that Bradley would be kept over Smart and the Celtics won't re-sign Smart predictions.

It's a prediction! I know nothing just like you and every other person in this forum. Go somewhere and chill out. By the way, I still think the Lakers get AD.

Its literally madness to say that we have to drain our prospects and will willingly comply while also saying that you wouldnt be ok with it if dagis walks.
To ignore that possibility is career suicide. Like letting durant leave for nothing KNOWN for years he was out.
And yet you're so aggressively happy to give the pels whatever they want instead of negotiating.
As we've been saying, those two guys are the problemsSmartWentCrazy wrote:JHTruth wrote:SmartWentCrazy wrote:

I haven't heard that at all. Links?
Windy and Jackie Mac had it, highlighting Kyrie’s fights with the young players but then saying hes great friends with Tatum. Then mentioned its he and Jaylen/Rozier that butt heads.

Of course they will negotiate.
In the end we trade Tatum to get a top 5 player in this league at age 25.
This is not Cousins, George, Butler or even Kyrie. We’re talking an entirely different tier of player here. A once in a lifetime opportunity.
AD and Greek Freak are gonnna be running this league in about 2 years. The time to pounce is right now

The problem is that the young players no matter how you value them have diminished control. Even things go perfectly for the Pelicans they are looking at a 2 to 3 years to get back on track. These guys are going to need extensions off of stat padding on a bad team by then. You never get to that point where you have this young core that is ready to win and the max space to sign a couple of FA's to move the process forward.
The Celtics can give the Pelicans 5 1st round picks all delivered in the next 3 years. Everyone else will be in agony about giving up two.

Success certainly does not fix those things if the issues are interpersonal, which sounds like they are. If the issue is worth the relationship, winning basketball games won't fix thatBRUNiNHO91 wrote:reload141 wrote:SmartWentCrazy wrote:

It’s true but it went further than that. Look he’s young and honestly he’s had an extremely tough year with Bird and his mother, I know a lot of that has been reported on and there’s no point going back down that path.
But it’s been very hard for him.
He's been balling off the bench though. What's he averaging like 17ppg in the last 5 or 6?
Winning fixes a lot of these things.
