This is the front page of the Lakers forum right now.
Am I the only one laughing uncontrollably?
Laker fans realizing that if they had drafted Tatum instead of Ball, they would have AD by now.

Memphis is gonna trade us a top 5 pick just to remove the possibility it might be a top 5 pick in two years?
And unless there's a player Danny really likes, why does he do that? For davis?
The 2020 draft is supposed to be better than this one, and 2021 better than that. He does it if that’s what New Orleans wants.
Was rumored that the Pelicans prefer picks after 2019, IIRC.

That's hard to do since hes hardly ever on the court
Davis averages 68 games played a season, and 34 mpg.
One of the selling points for Danny to make to AD is that coming to Boston will actually be very good for his career long term. The depth we have here means that they can cut down on his minutes in the regular season. If he goes to what will remain of the Lakers (mostly a g-league team) he’ll be forced to play 36+ min every night since they’ll have very few options aside from him and whats left of LeBron’s body. Coming to Boston is a far better long term move for him on a number of levels.

I don’t think its a lock that he leaves. What is the difference between what we could pay him and what anyone else could? Its the same reason why I’m not scared at all of Kyrie leaving. They’ll both have 40-60,000,000 reasons to stay

I'm not giving up the talented core we have for a one year rental on a player who really has no desire to be here longtime. I just I'm in the minority that enjoys watching this core and wants to see them grow together and become the next dynasty (after GSW) rather than giving up all young talent for a supposed top 5 player (didn't even have team in 8 spot prior to his #30 injury in his career).

Not sure how a poster who has been around this long can be this gullible.

Winning and being given the right role go a long way to help young guys get better and look good.
