Eighteen minutes in, I was shocked to see an interview with, you guessed it by where I posted, Karl-Anthony Towns.“I think the biggest rookie mistake that you can make is being satisfied with making it. You know, the satisfaction of making the NBA is the night of the draft when you get drafted, the night after the draft, or the day after the draft I’ll even give the rookies, but there shouldn’t be no satisfaction when you get to work.
When you get to work, you’ve already had the glory, you’ve been been patted on the back enough about making it to the NBA. It’s time for work now. Now you have to fight to keep your job every single day, and being satisfied with making it and just running through the motions, is the biggest mistake any rookies can make.”
There is a thread on the Trade Board right now about trading KAT while his value is high. I think it’s ridiculous. I mentioned his offense, his character, his 5.5 years locked into his contract, and his incredible health. But the main reason we shouldn’t lose this guy is because of this attitude. This is a mature kid, who gets it. The reason he is so good now, and will get better, is that he understands being satisfied means stalling.
I hope Andrew Wiggins watches Netflix.

Looks like it was a really bad one and KAT was pretty lucky to escape without any serious injuries-

Have you ever been rear-ended by a semi?

I am glad he is alive, and nobody was seriously hurt. 5% would mean ventilator in COMA type of injury
