Most of that article is rediclous. Leaving a goat in your gms office is pretty funny.
NBA wants him to sell ?

WeekapaugGroove wrote:My take on owners is they have every right to have final say on big decisions that's normal operating procedure in sports but this crap about yelling at players and coaches during or after games is completely and utterly wrong. If he's still doing this he needs to stop immediately and never do that again; it's really that simple.
As far as Jones deferring to Bukstein for things I don't have a problem with that. He's the co-GM so if Jones is letting him do the things he's supposed to do that's actually the example I want set for Sarver. Let people do the job they were hired to do.

I think it’s critical that our next pg compliments Booker with strong perimeter defense.
From what I’ve seen Ja is not a strong defender. He looks like he would be great 6th man spark off the bench, but we need to prioritize our assets to get starting pg/pf first if possible.
Did scouts mention anything about Ja’s defensive potential in a few years?

I'm honestly really high on him. His defensive instincts at his age are a VERY rare and encouraging sign. To me his floor is nice defensive bench guard but if he develops his shot and playmaking then you could really have something.

It's too bad they weren't under the cap when they signed him and could have done the 4 year deal like they did with Okobo.Crives wrote:WeekapaugGroove wrote:We can only hopeCrives wrote:

It’s too bad we don’t have that restricted tag on him. He is my favorite player in nba 2k, he must have the highest steal rating ever for a rookie.
Do we have to wait until summer of 2020 to extend him?
While i don't have as much hatred for scary Terry as some people I hope they go in another direction. I like his competitive spirit but he just doesn't put the ball in the basket with good efficiency.Saberestar wrote:

Meh... hopefully this is the backups backup plan. Can’t exactly advertise your plan a and b if it is picking up a player in a trade. ( unless your a jerk like LeBron/Klutch)
WeekapaugGroove wrote:Could just be that the suns tried to trade for him before the season so there's an assumption they will try again this summer. But things can change as other options become available.

Gambo likes the idea of Rozier
based on those opinions - Rozier to Phoenix is not happening![]()

So upon reflection, Would he still be considered a bad pick for us in the lottery, Or more likely, Yet another example of our front offices lack of ability to develop talent properly???
I'm curious as to the percentage of former players that we have given up on, etc. Only to go on and perform better for other teams?
You can really view his time with Chandler either way. Either he's a better player now because he got stuck behind him or he never got to really show how he was because of it...

He was a bad pick. NBA players are responsible for their success. Alex Len had a ton of opportunities and coaches/help here.
It was just a game. He is the same player that he was for us during five years, the only difference is that he has added a decent 3p shot ...like so many bigs in the current NBA.
He was for us a solid backup C and he is for the Hawks a solid backup C.
But we were expecting more out of him being selected with the #5 pick in the draft. It is a shame that he is not talented enough and he does not have the basketball IQ and hands to be a good C in the NBA.
10.2 points, 5.5 rebounds per game in around 20 minutes per game on a losing team. I am not impressed.
