No one gave Sarver the memo that the draft odds have changed this year and the draft also sucks for depth this year. Suns got momentum going and then all these mystery injuries that popped up after games. It's like they are actively trying to lose fans. The TJ injury was out of nowhere and now he barely is mentioned. The Oubre injury was something that didn't come up in game at all, and was just out of nowhere. Tyler Johnson injury? Out of nowhere. The only injury we actually saw was JJ twisting his ankle. I want to keep watching, but it's like they are just constantly saying, "Come back next year" x infinity.
I think Sarver is definitely tanking and trying to ensure best odds for Zion. No point in winning more games.
I doubt it. They clearly wanted to finish the season strong. I don't think Oubre is having surgery just for the hell of it. They were riding high after those wins. They didn't just suddenly create injuries to make us lose when we didn't need to anyway.
No matter how bad you are you have less than a 1 in 7 chance at Zion.
We tanked all year. No need to mess it up at the end.
