Clippers are being overlooked. They are a PO team and have lot of cap space. And they got a pretty sweet deal for Harris. If this was us, we would be saying the FO knows something the rest of the league doesn't.

I even think the Nets are a dark horse.

This is going to be a crazy off-season.

On a side note, people talk like Kyrie+KD is an instant ring. I'm not sure if KD has the mental fortitude to be a #1 option. Joining GSW after being knocked out by them. Those burner accounts. Media avoidance. Listing himself as 6' 9" when he's a 7 footer. And he said his next decision will be a business decision not a basketball decision. So if he comes to NY, I think branding will be more important than winning. Maybe a couple a years ago he could have cruised to the Finals in the East, but the East is back.

You do know a month ago scottie said durant should leave the warriors and go to the knicks because winning with the warriors will not mean as much because he is viewed as the 2nd guy...

Clippers will sign kawhi, they are not going to stretch gallo or trade lou and harrell to create a 2nd max...

Nobody is going to the nets to team with russell, makes zero sense to do that..

While Kyrie vs. DLo might not be completely comparable yet, their extended contracts definitely are. To be quite honest, I’d rather max out DLo at 23 at his max than Kyrie with his knees at the super max

It is not about what you want to do, it is about who durant wants to play with..

Also you are not giving him the super max, only the celtics can give him the supermax

It's a good thing Adam Silver is rigging the lottery for us so we get Zion :)

If Kyrie goes to the Nets, let’s sign dLo and KD.

the source is stefan bondy, the same stefan bondy who said knicks cant sign durant and kyrie and then trade fir anthony davis...

Dude is troll and what better way to troll knicks fans than to say a player prefers the nets...

Think about this logically, if knicks sign durant where do you think irving will want to go?

It's pretty close.

Wade > Kyrie
Bosh < AD
Lebron = KD

It's pretty close.

Wade > Kyrie
Bosh < AD
Lebron = KD

--Mags :beer:

I think some people forget how great C.Bosh was and how he was the guy that was unselfish and stepped his play down on the offensive end to let LeBron and Wade be the big scorers. When he was with the Toronto Raptors he was an absolute beast on both ends of the floor but when he went to join with LeBron and Wade one of the 3 had to be unselfish and kinda take a backseat on most nights on the offensive end. If AD, KD and Kyrie end up playing together and they want to be a great winning team then one of them will have to kinda take a backseat as well and become more of a defender on most nights rather than putting up 30 points a game. That could be Kyrie who could focus more on assists and other parts or could be AD who could focus more on defending and rebounding. I mean of course all 3 will still score and have huge games on offense but Bosh could of done much more if he wasn't playing with Wade and LaBron.

I don't want Irving here so I'd be elated if he ends up in Brooklyn. A pairing of him and Russell in the backcourt would be a bad fit and would take up over half of the Net's cap while keeping them in the middle of the pack.

I really would like any 2 of Klay-Kawhi-KD. Obviously the chances of grabbing 2 of them would be slim but I like the style of these 3 players compared to the high usage rating of someone like Kyrie.

Kyrie, Klay, KD and Leonard are the only real max guys this summer. If they can't get a combination of any of those 2 guys, roll the money over into next summer and avoid the fake max cats such as Butler and Walker.

Irregardless of the reality that Kyrie might pick the Nets or not, you KNOW a ton of articles will have "Player X going to Knicks! Nets! He's torn!" because that approach is NYC-squared and all the clicks.
