I'm under the impression that Isaac is making Siakam work VERY hard for his points (particularly game 1) when he's guarding him. Definitely had some blow bys and some mid-range shots that have gone in over him, some contested threes, but a lot of times, Siakam is doing work on switches and transition dunks/layups where Isaac has nothing to do with that at all. Otherwise, Isaac is making Siakam use a lot of energy/pump fakes/aggressive drives to score if he's on him. Am I crazy?
He is the only guy this year that I feel really handles Siakam well. IMO I think isaac has been your most important piece although Gordon has been solid as well and I'd listen to that argument. Offensively the magic seem like a trainwreck collectively. Being a group that has relied on the vuc pick and roll/pick and pop all year to produce... there doesnt seem to be any other offense outside of Ross bombing 3s. isaac doesnt really have a defined or practised sweet spot/go to move to produce points. Will be interesting to see what he adds to the toolbox in the off season.
