Only Twirl wants to know what you did for those tickets.

Easily their most important player. He is nearly 33 though so be interesting to see how he holds up over a series that is likely to be very physically demanding.emunney wrote:Horford is the problem imo.

I hope they're tomahawk slams on Marcus Morris' ugly **** face.
To each his own I guess.

This begs the question, what is the C's offensive rating when Ojeleye plays?
Yeah it's not good. 105 on, 111 off. +1.5 net for the year though. I'm not sure what his on/off is when facing Giannis specifically. Giannis also destroyed him in the second game so I kinda take last years numbers with a grain of salt. He only had one possession on Giannis in the 3rd game and Giannis got an assist for a 3.
Ruben Quevedo wrote:Ron Swanson wrote:James Johnson, Thad Young, Rudy Gobert, now Semi Ojeleye. People keep hyping up these apparent "Giannis stoppers" and it always seems to backfire in spectacular fashion. So yeah, please keep talking up Al Horford and Ojeleye.
Giannis has "figured it out." The same way Lebron did in 2007, and Steph in 2015, and Harden last year. There's only a few guys in the league who can slow him down now, let alone "stop" him. And yeah...Ojeleye isn't one of those guys.
They will have no answer for him. The relevant question is how well the supporting cast plays (namely Bledsoe and Midds) and whether Brook can survive the high pick n roll they are going to run every time down the court.

Think there will be more than just have Bledsoe do his best? Fight through as many screens as possible, he's one of the best at that.
One thing that popped in my head is them running a ton of screens to get Lopez switched to Kyrie. Think of Stephen Adams or Kevin Love getting switched on Steph Curry in all those playoff games where he can then just toy with them and get 3s.

Fortunately, I didn't have to do any of the things that would have gotten Twirly excited.

Kidd would have curb stomped him.
Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

Literally any positive impact he gives us from this point on is just gravy to me. We don't have any terrible players that we're forced to give time to because he's out, he's not the key to making our offense run, and we don't really miss his defense either. I'm not confident that a Brogdon that's working himself back into game shape is going to be this huge boon for us at any point this series.
