Easily their most important player. He is nearly 33 though so be interesting to see how he holds up over a series that is likely to be very physically demanding.

My brother bought me a pair of game 2 tix, but I cant make the Tuesday game.

Is anyone interest in swapping their Sunday Game 1 tix for similarly located game 2 tix?

Game 2 tickets are section 206, row4.

Kyrie is going to be Kyrie, he can basically get to anywhere on the court he wants. Just try to make it as tough as possible for him, go at him on defense. Wish we had a healthy Brogdon so both guards could attack him/C's couldn't hide him.

Kind of hope someone shows Giannis that stat and calls Ojeyle the Giannis stopper. Let Giannis process that for a bit and then hope that Stevens puts Semi on Giannis. I'll grab some popcorn.

This begs the question, what is the C's offensive rating when Ojeleye plays?

Yeah it's not good. 105 on, 111 off. +1.5 net for the year though. I'm not sure what his on/off is when facing Giannis specifically. Giannis also destroyed him in the second game so I kinda take last years numbers with a grain of salt. He only had one possession on Giannis in the 3rd game and Giannis got an assist for a 3.

I was also wondering what the numbers look like this year. Giannis is a different beast this year against stronger guys with his added strength.

On the season he averaged 31 PPG against Boston with a TS% of .658.

Giannis has "figured it out." The same way Lebron did in 2007, and Steph in 2015, and Harden last year. There's only a few guys in the league who can slow him down now, let alone "stop" him. And yeah...Ojeleye isn't one of those guys.

They will have no answer for him. The relevant question is how well the supporting cast plays (namely Bledsoe and Midds) and whether Brook can survive the high pick n roll they are going to run every time down the court.

Ersan and Mirotic will need to step up because they are going to exploit Lopez.

Think there will be more than just have Bledsoe do his best? Fight through as many screens as possible, he's one of the best at that.

One thing that popped in my head is them running a ton of screens to get Lopez switched to Kyrie. Think of Stephen Adams or Kevin Love getting switched on Steph Curry in all those playoff games where he can then just toy with them and get 3s.

We don't switch so that won't happen.

Am I the only one that hasn't really even thought about Brogdon in terms of helping our team this postseason? Literally any positive impact he gives us from this point on is just gravy to me. We don't have any terrible players that we're forced to give time to because he's out, he's not the key to making our offense run, and we don't really miss his defense either. I'm not confident that a Brogdon that's working himself back into game shape is going to be this huge boon for us at any point this series.

brown, hill, and connaughton have really stepped up in his absence. which really comes as no surprise, to me.

Yeah I never really expected him to be a factor in this series, also thought he wouldn't play the first 2-3 games so the recent news isn't surprising at all. I do think he's necessary against Toronto though. They have leveled up defensively now that Gasol & Kawhi are trying more, and we would need every creator we can get against those dudes. Against Boston we really should be able to beat them without Brogdon.

Sterling's intensity and physicality is something that's really needed in the playoffs. I personally see Brogdon coming off the bench for the rest of the playoffs.

Yeah I really can't imagine Brogdon getting his starting spot back. Brown has been **** awesome. This might age poorly but I'm getting Jimmy Butler vibes.

Hill/Brogdon as a bench backcourt sounds pretty nasty.

Has anyone watched either of the two Jazz/Celtics matchups this year? Jazz won both and I'd be interested to know if they did anything different defensively in that matchup. Gonna watch one of them later today I think
