Thinking of starting one of these games :
- Random Season by Round(Where in each round you can select from a pool of players from that season only or if thats too narrow the season before that season and after that season as well)
- Choose your own Decade Draft(Where you can only draft players from one decade you choose)
- Full Random Draft(Where each pick has a year randomly selected and you can only choose a player from that year)
The first is workable, but
you'd have to maybe have eight seasons five years apart designated to be pulled randomly as opposed to being totally random. And give everyone a shot at a high pick in a round.
By decade is interesting.
Full random sounds like an awful lot of luck.
Do you mean somethink like this : Round 1 : 1976 , Round 2: 1981 , Round 3: 1986 etc
Also give everyone a shot at a high pick in a round : how can we set up an order where that is possible
No I mean you take the eight seasons (five years apart) selected beforehand and pull a random one before each round. No one knows what order they're coming.
Half the group might get 1,4,6,8,10,12,14,16 picks over eight rounds while the other half would get 2,3,5,7,9,11,13,15
