The dude shows no emotion for anything and his answers most of the time are awkward and give little to no insight.

What you posted tells me absolutely nothing about his 'emotional investment' when this guy never shows emotions.

You must’ve misread my post somewhere or it came off the wrong way to you.

Frankly my point was I have no f*cking clue where Kawhi goes, sounds like you’re sure he takes the max to stay in Toronto. What makes you think that?

If anything he can win this chip and bounce somewhere else.

Why?

He says himself it's all about winning titles. The Raptors are about to win one.

The Raptors can easily get back to the Finals next year. He can sign a 2 year extension at max money and keep his options open again down the line.

He could’ve stayed in San Antonio and done the same exact thing, and he won a ring there.

I'm a bit confused. Why are other FAs upset? Not that I think KD is a lock (I'm an experienced Knicks fan), but anyone have any ideas about what it means to them?

Stannis wrote:I think these rumors are surfacing about Kyrie to the Nets because word has got around that Durant will stay in Golden State. This series is a wrap, and Durant wants to return to help this team and win.

The sources are saying Kyrie is favored to go to the Nets. There has not been any sources about Durant going to the Nets, only the garbage on the General Board. I thought it was pretty clear that the Knicks didn't want Irving unless it got them Durant. Irving might have taken that as a slight, but that's another issue. Nets might be the only team willing to give Irving a full max and make him their #1.

But why would Kevin Durant return? Lettuce be real, it's pretty obvious:

1) He gets to return and prove to the fans that the Warriors do need him
2) More money
3) His chance of winning more championships is still greatest with staying with Golden State than any other team.

Russilo on his podcast yesterday heard that Kyrie wants to have his own team, which he and Bobby Marks laughed at because he just had his own team. I think realistically Jimmy Butler goes there with him

Love the thought of kawhi. I just don’t see how he doesn’t re sign in Toronto especially with them when they win the finals

And I’m starting to wonder who Durant can get as a running mate in the scenario Durant chooses the Knicks

Kawhi- finals win / does he even want to pair up
Klay- he’s Curry’s teammate to the end
Kyrie- seems to want Brooklyn
Kemba- maybe possible but not if Charlotte offers that super max
Butler - has a golden opportunity in philly and if he leaves rumored to have wanted to play with Kyrie in the past

After those guys. Who else is available
Tobias ? Middleton ?

They are not the ones to sign to a big deal as a running mate

Davis

Davis is all well and good but this team will he stripped big time. IF we trade for Davis it costs nearly all of the young players. And have no clear big 3. You have a big 2 which obviously they are great but feels like you’d be left With nothing

A lot of assumptions there when you don’t know what any of these guys are thinking and when rumors change every 4 days. You say stuff like “Butler has a golden opportunity in Philly” as if they didn’t get bounced before the ECF. He’s essentially in the same position as Kyrie. They’ll do what they want, regardless of outside opinion.

Also, you left Anthony Davis out.

Middleton is vastly underrated around the league still and especially on this board. This post will now be answered by some super smart dude pointing at his inconsistency in these playoffs. If you really watched him the last two years, you'd seen a dominant all-around scorer and good defender. He's a very good choice, worth the money, but very good attitude so he might just stay with Giannis.

Amazes me how some are starting to think the worst and settle for that possibility but didn’t want to do the same with the draft lottery, which had worse odds than anything that will happen in free agency for us. Lmaooo

I feel like Durant has his mind made up already. Not sure the finals will have a big impact on his decision.

I'd fear Masai now getting AD for Siakam, OG, VanVleet, Powell and whatever picks they might have. Toronto wil also resign Green I guess.

If not, after next year they could have cap space I believe. #Giannis

I’m just reposting this with all the Kawhi questioning.

I also love how some here are saying Kawhi had to lose in the finals to have a chance of him leaving. But KD/Warriors lose and it means he’s staying.

I get that it’s obviously rumors and stuff changes. But as far as butler. I have a few friends in philly area. One use to work for the sixers who says butler has given all indication he will be re signing with them.

Kawhi. Yes he’s odd and no one can tell what he does. But he’s 1 win away from a championship I don’t see him leaving. And if he does I see him going to clippers. Does that mean we can’t get him. No but I just don’t see him and Durant pairing up

Kyrie, I think the Brooklyn stuff is a lot like the knicks and KD stuff. I think there’s legit intel and reasons for kyrie to the nets.

Klay has reiterated over and over how much he wants to be in golden state with Curry. Only way Klay leaves is if they don’t offer the max and he’s getting a max offer from Them.

As for Davis. I didn’t count him cause as much as Durant wants him he could recruit him all he wants but it comes down to if the pelicans want to accept our offer. It’s not like he can just outright choose us
