Lonzo, Jaylen, Ingram, Kuzma, Memphis pick, Knox, Dennis Smith, Smart, #3 and #4 picks. Polling people on how they rank them 1-10 would genuinely be all over the map. Jaylen's especially all over the map and that's even here.
I listened to a Pelicans podcast about two weeks ago and they put all of the potential trade pieces in categories then gave them a ranked them 1-10 (I don't remember the exact ranking so I won't incude that) The categories were center piece, draft capital , and "everything else". The teams were the Celtics, Knicks, Lakers, Clippers, and Nets and they worked out a potential trade wit each of them. I don't have the best memory but I think it was something like below:
Center Piece - This was weighted the most because if you trade for a star, then obviously you want a star (or at least someone you think can become a star) in return
1) BOS- Tatum - Keep in mind this was before Rich Paul started his **** and tanked really AD's value to Boston
2) NY - #3
3) LAC - SGA - The Clips have since said that he's not available but I think he would be if they could get AD
4) LAL - #4
5) BRK - They assumed a S&T for Russell is off the table, I think the chose Allen, but Levert was close.
Draft Capital - If the center piece was a pick, then that pick didn't count toward draft capital
1) BOS - the Memphis Pick and or #14, plus other picks, and their own future picks
2) NY - Dallas picks, and their own picks
3) LAC - Miami 21 unprotected (I would rate that #2 personally), they also have Philly pick in 21 iirc
4 & 5) BRK & LAL - I believe they each just have their own picks
Everything Else1) LAL - Some combination of Ingram, Ball, Kuz
2) LAC - Shamet, Gallo (for salary matching purposes and expiring) and either Lou or Harrell
3) BRK - Levert, Kurucs, and either Harris or Dinwiddie
4) BOS - Smart, Williams
5) NY - Robinson, Knox, DSJ
In conclusion,
1) Boston was #1 by a wide margin due, mainly due to center piece being weighted more, but also their future draft capital.
2) New York was #2 because they love Barrett and they think that their picks will be decent. Basically, because even if they get AD their ownership is so bad that they will find a way to blow it.
3) They had the Clippers at 3 because they love a backcourt of SGA and Jrue and really like Shamet playing with Zion. Plus, the future pick and the ability to flip guys like Gallo or Lou/Harrell if things go awry.
4) The Lakers - Their "everything else" is decent but there's no true center piece at #4 and they don't have much potential for high future draft picks with Lebron and AD
5) The Nets were a distant fifth and really didn't have a much more than a punchers chance even if they went "Billy King".
Obviously, all of this is subjective and some things have changed (Tatum potentially not being available) but if you insert Brown in his spot, then I still thing they're Number 1.... I could have my green colored glasses on though.
