1. He was a bit bitter about their success without him
2. That he was frustrated with the entitled play of the young guys, and Brad for not being able to get them in line.
THEN he used his "role" as the "leader" to try to intervene (LeBron Style) and justify his frustrations.
Kyrie wasn't the initial problem. He just couldn't handle it and exasperated the issues.
This all is a result of Kyrie's lack of self awareness and emotional intelligence, which of course results in this reaction formed pseudospirtual intellectual persona he currently wears. I've said this before, but he acts a lot like someone who's been predisposed for substance induced psychosis (weed CAN do that; as a social worker, I've seen similar patterns)
Not saying he will be.. I don't think he will. But my point is that the dude is all over the place, he's super flighty, and really needs to get his stuff together and his mind right. Because I don't think he's 100% "right" maybe 88%![]()

Can you not see how someone unstable like that isn't necessarily the best person to try and build your franchise around? Kyrie is the type who's off court issues have on court implications as we saw this year. This is why lesser players like IT and Rozier can take the team just as far in the playoffs in his place.
But I want to build around Davis, Davis and Kyrie. if Davis is returnable without Kyrie then by all means. I only wanted Kyrie to stay here, and I wanted him to be appeased because I felt he was an absolute necessity to build a championship team around Davis if we trade for him. So in that regard yes.
However, if we can still trade for Davis and build the contender around him, then by all means Kyrie can go climb a mountain in Kathmandu

That is a misconception. There is no mountain in Kathmandu.
