Well, let us assume we use #16 on a SG/SF and keep both Vuc and Ross. Then we have:
DJ, Fultz
Evan, Ross, #16
Isaac, Iwandu, #16
AG, ____
Vuc, Bamba
So I would target a PF.
Bobby Portis makes a lot of sense. I don't expect him to accept the MLE but you have to ask.
Noah Vonleh isn't the player he was expected to be but he is an 8 ppg / 8 reb guy who can occasionally block some shots and hit some 3s.
Would someone like Jabari Parker be willing to take such a small deal for the sake of consistency and re-booting his career? While flawed, he is still an offensive spark plug. Ross has shown us the value of that off the bench.
It is quite evident that when we resign Ross and Fultz is healthy guard is not as big of a priority as most of people here think. We also have Frazier who is first round talent wise. ( this year he would end up in tue twenties). Most of the need theme is fueled with Fournier hate and he still even in his down year was big part of the playoff rotational which happened to be second youngest ( and propably rawest) in the NBA. I know i am the only one here but give me Clarke, Williams or Claxton. In the free agency there are a TON of underrated rotation worthy guards opposed to forwards and god knows Weltman will sign some miracoulus contracts to our heart content.
Frazier did not show 1st round talent this year. didnt even show 2nd round talent.
But Bamba did and we have a logjam at center position ?
