So help me out. What's the order of operations here? Trades into cap space, waiving non-guaranteeds (might be worth using as assets in the trades into cap space, unless we think they won't be claimed on waivers), signing free agents usin cap space, signing rmle and vet mins.
Here's a version with a bunch of filler names in for vet mins:

Also, I'm not sure which year I should be using to make the trades on the capulator.
1. Traded Dante Exum and Royce O'Neale for ___
2. Traded Derrick Favors, Raul Neto, Tony Bradley, and Georges Niang for ___
3. Renounced $ 22,462,500 2019-20 cap hold for Ricky Rubio
4. Renounced $ 6,825,000 2019-20 cap hold for Thabo Sefolosha
5. Renounced $ 4,368,000 2019-20 cap hold for Ekpe Udoh
6. Signed Tobias Harris to 4yrs/$ 123,968,006 contract starting in 2019-20 using Cap Space
7. Signed Mario Hezonja to 2yrs/$ 9,758,000 contract starting in 2019-20 using Room Mid-Level Exception
8. Signed Joakim Noah to 1yrs/$ 1,618,486 contract starting in 2019-20 using 2-Year Vet. Minimum Exception
9. Re-signed Thabo Sefolosha to 1yrs/$ 1,618,486 contract starting in 2019-20 using 10-Year Vet. Minimum Exception
10. Signed Jared Dudley to 1yrs/$ 1,618,486 contract starting in 2019-20 using 10-Year Vet. Minimum Exception
11. Signed Shelvin Mack to 1yrs/$ 1,618,486 contract starting in 2019-20 using 8-Year Vet. Minimum Exception
Is there a better way than that?
I'm using Smitty's capsheets... here's what I have.
1st operation - waive Raul Neto
2nd operation - renounce Ricky, Thabo and Ekpe
I will be keeping Royce and Niang (FOR NOW) and not trading them for capspace, since his number is low enough that they are not worth waiving since you have to put placeholder vet min in their place anyways).
1 Bradley, Tony $1,962,360.00
2 Conley Jr., Mike $32,511,624.00
3 Exum, Dante $9,600,000.00
4 Favors, Derrick $17,650,000.00
5 Gobert, Rudy $25,008,427.00
6 Ingles, Joe $11,954,546.00
7 Mitchell, Donovan $3,635,760.00
8 Niang, Georges $1,645,357.00
9 O'Neale, Royce $1,618,520.00
10 Brantley, Jarrell $897,158.00
11 Wright-Foreman, Justin $897,158.00
12 Oni, Miye $897,158.00
Total $108,278,068.00
(I don't know if the 2nd rounders count toward the cap right now, but even if they didn't we would have to put vet mins as placeholders until we fill out the roster which are the same number)
Now you need to clear capspace for Harris...
3d operation: trade Exum and Bradley into someone else's capspace, without taking back any salary
4th operation: waive Favors
This results into this:
1 Conley Jr., Mike $32,511,624.00
2 Gobert, Rudy $25,008,427.00
3 Ingles, Joe $11,954,546.00
4 Mitchell, Donovan $3,635,760.00
5 Niang, Georges $1,645,357.00
6 O'Neale, Royce $1,618,520.00
7 Brantley, Jarrell $897,158.00
8 Wright-Foreman, Justin $897,158.00
9 Oni, Miye $897,158.00
10 vet min cap hold $897,158.00
11 vet min cap hold $897,158.00
12 vet min cap hold $897,158.00
Total $81,757,182.00
Salary cap $109,000,000.00
Available capspace $27,242,818.00
Even if you waive both Niang and Royce, you will only get about 1.5M more of capspace which is not enough to give Harris the max(his max starts at 32.7M). If we get rid off Niang and Royce for no incoming salaries... the absolute maximum capspace we can create is $28,712,379.00.
This would mean only having Conley, Gobert, Ingles and Mitchell under contract. (and the second rounders)
