BUT...

Today we got rid of our locker room problems (Kyrie and Terry), avoided a super terrible contract (Al), and signed a top scoring guard who averaged 26 ppg last season and is a multiple sportsmanship award recipient.

It's a breath of fresh air tbh. I'll take our chances with Kemba, Tatum, Brown, Smart, Hayward over the hellish nightmare that was 2018-19.

our locker room problems (Kyrie and Terry and Morris)

Yeah I'm over here silently sipping my coffee not upset by this really almost at all.

AL at 33 isn't an investment to buy into.

Morris and Irving and Terry were terrible chemistry wise last year.

Kemba is okay. He's a much easier replacement to see fit wise going from Irving to Kemba than Philly going from Butler to Horford so I think we lost less in that trade than Philly (obviously as a team we've been shattered though with the rest of the outs)

Idk this is okay. We'll be in the same tier as Pacers. A nice little second round team with an outside shot.

As long as Kawhi doesn't goto the Lakers this will be about as good of an off season as it could have gone in the end post AD being traded to LAL and Irving declaring he hates the city of Boston a week or so ago.

Not happy losing all these assets for free but it's okay. Let's get some bargains at the 5 and see if the kids develop.

While we may have gotten Kemba, Sixers got Horford, and Kawhi is probably going to choose between raptors or lakers so a lose-lose situation regardless. Kyrie and Durant in Brooklyn. The Atlantic division is by far the strongest now

And why won't we be right there with everyone else? Please are really sleeping on this squad.

I’m not at all. I think we can compete with anyone not named raptors with Kawhi in the east imo. I just wanted to be greedy and have Al back and Kawhi to the clippers to make things a lot easier for the Celtics to get to the finals.

Hope Kawhi goes west and we can still compete with anyone

I think our offense is going to hum this season

As Bulpett wrote it, thus was it done.

Farewell sweet Al, and your beautiful biceps and eye lashes. Long may the Sixers be a cocktease.

Does Leonard drive a car?

I pegged him as a guy that puts a Tesla in autopilot and climbs into the trunk while driving.

He's had this car since his college days and has clung to it. I think he had the engine rebuilt. But he does have something like a Jaguar for his fancy dress outings too.

Great, now I like him even more.

Can we get favors though?

I don’t really see how.

Mid-level exception. After today, there aren’t that many teams left with cap space.

SImmons is overrated as hell. The guy’s a weak link. Do they have shooters? Where’s the bench? They have size but where are the shooters?

Richardson, Harris and Horford can all stretch the floor.

They will find shooters dude. Every contender finds them by March.

Defensively they will be elite.

What money? Where’s the money? When the sixers are crapping on themselves next season i will tell you i told you so.

It’s only 6/30, Ainge has the whole summer to improve his roster. Philly blew their load today.

I think Philly clear No. 2 in East. Embiid, Simmons, Harris and Horford. I love Horfoed for them. I also love that Reddick is gone, so maybe it will implode.

Crazy thing is, all the top teams in the East have questions. Milwaukee loses Brogdon, Philly loses Butler, Cletics lose Kyrie Horford, Raps lose Kawahi

Up in the air. Here is what I am think after freee agency

1. Milwaukee
2. Philly
3. Boston
4. Indiana
5. Heat
6. Raptors
7. Nets (for 2019-202)
8. Pistons

Yup me too, that remains to be seen. That’s one big lineup though. They gonna pound us inside with that lineup.

Theoretically Al guards Tatum? That’s a win.

I truly love our 1-4 of Kemba, Jaylen, Hayward and Tatum. I also like Smart as our backup PG, and RWilliams as our project big man.

But how in the world do we put together a front court to handle Giannis and now Embiid & Horford

lol. Championship? 4th seed at best.

Simons can't shoot, Richardson shoots inefficiently at 41% last year, Horford is old.

They definitely worse than last year.

Yeesh. Really didn't think he'd end up in Philly. Gross.

Still love Al but this is rough
