Knicks have DSJr, Lakers wouldn't want Rubio...I think if they don't get Kawhi or DLo they may go after Beverley. Magic I don't think have space, and still have Augustin a year...and have Fultz through his rookie contract if he can ever do anything.
Bulls might go after someone but drafted White and still have Dunn....I think they used their space though.

Lakers might want Rubio if they strike out on Kawhi and miss out on everyone else.
Magic at the time i believe had the space but went with Ross shortly after
Bulls have space, White won't be ready for a couple of years and Dunn was never the answer.
I get your point though, we probably overpaid a bit but it's not that bad.
