Actually there’s not much to think about. The guy has won two titles already. He’s a big time basketball player that has shown he can win without two superstars. He’s gonna get paid. It’s two choices. Be your own man or go be lebroni’s lapdog along with Davis. Clippers have a lot to offer . Coach and west as a consultant. Nice roster . Why would he be afraid to face a guy that’s on the downhill of his career.

I'll choose to believe you don't actually believe this.

I have a homework assignment for you. Sit down and think about everything that goes into this decision for Kawhi, seriously.

You tell me? He wanted to go home. To Los Angeles. Either that or stay with the raptors . There’s not much to figure out. The more he wrestles with this decision the more i see him pulling a durant 2.0. He can build his own legacy or be part of a superteam lol.

There is more to a decision like this. For starters, he has a family, which means that his spouse is very likely involved in the decision.

No **** lol. The warriors big 3 accomplish a lot. Leonard and lebroni on the same team? Get some bums off the street and they likely win 57-60 games next season.

Yes.

Not true, LBJ doesn't bring nearly enough on defense to win that many games. He's keeping his flashy stat line on offense so the media can kiss his ass, but I think that he's declined a bit the last 2-3 years. We will find out eventually. Not really bothered with LAL stuff, honestly, it is fun discussing NBA topics tho, so I'm fine with it, again not bothering myself with the Lakers either way.

Lebron won’t have to defend as much. Leonard will do the dirty work like I said. There’s no way he is picking the raptors over the lakers if it’s down to those two.

I’m with ya.

Faverani, Theis, Erden, etc.

Every Euro big we sign is mediocre.

I don’t think we need a 4.. we need a 5 either a defensive big or a big with shooting ability..Tatum, semi, Williams, hayward can all slide to play the 4

He might still be in play. I prefer Theis tho(or maybe both and call it an offseason)..

theis is 6’8”. He can’t guard any bigs, so a big NO!

True that. The crazy thing about Leonard is that he’s a guy that can be his own man and lead a team to a championship with the pieces around him. He’s a special talent. He doesn’t need two other great superstars.

He's a career 78% free throw shooter, so perhaps he can become a competent 3 point shooter, like Baynes, who is also very good from the free throw line.

Theis is legit 6'9, he jumps alright, can shoot 3s, can block shots and has really long arms.
Good assessment:

PLO wrote:Tatum played OK - took advantage of a few mismatches - decent on the defensive end. He is what we thought he was going into the season - a technically very proficient player operating close to his career ceiling as a rookie.

To me he seemed so convinced that I believe the little rat misled him.

Misled him by saying I don't owe anybody ****? I don't think so.

I honestly think Ainge did want to trade him, but was probably concerned the franchise would get a bad rep, particularly after the IT trade. Keeping up the image of the franchise in the eyes of media/agents/players is probably an angle not considered enough in this situation.

sorry bro, that guy can’t guard embiid and giannis, so i’ll pass. If we already have a defensive big in place, then why not. We need to have a rim protector first, Theis ain’t that guy.

He’s very good off the ball 3 point shooter, don’t have the numbers off hand.

Why sign a guy who should have retired 3 years ago? There are actually NBA-level players who will play for vet min.

Watching Noah play last year, I was surprised at how well he played. I thought he was done. I changed my mind. Did you see the stats he posted last year? I provided a link in a previous post. Pretty impressive. I also included a link to a highlight video of his play with the Grizzlies last year. We would not be asking him to play major minutes. From the highlight video it is clear that he still plays with plenty of fire. He is not washed up, and he would be perfect in a role where he would not be asked to play major minutes.

Theis is fine imo as the 3rd string C. Certainly can't question his effort, just not overly talented.
