GM's phones must be buzzing hard now that Kawhi unclogged the drain in Toronto and in LeBron's bathroom.

Kawhi gone, Durant to miss a year for Nets, Butler and Redick gone from Philly.....the East is weaker with the Bucks being favorites

Well the Sixers have Simmons - Richardson - Harris - Horford - Embiid. They're the team to beat. The Bucks are right there with them.

After that, it's an open field in my not-so-humble opinion.

Philly will be good, I'm just not completely sold on them yet. They were better with Butler and Tedick in my opinion. Horford is trending down, and though Richardson is a good player, he had low shooting percentages last year, and no way he replaces what Butler gave them. I guess we see what happens.

Biz, MKG, two 2nd round picks for Adam's

OKC grabs a couple 2nds and get 2 expirings

Hornets roll out

Rozier, Graham
Bacon, Monk
Miles, ???
Marvin, PJ
Adams, Cody

No Kemba, but a much better defensive and rebounding lineup

Maybe follow up with Batum for Love to add scoring?

Rozier, Graham
Bacon, Monk
Miles, PJ
Love, Marvin
Adams, Cody

In a weak Eastern Conference, not a great team but it is decent with some depth. Rozier, Bacon, and Adams are good defenders, I could see balanced scoring, and talk about improving rebounding, Adams and Love, not to mention Rozier is a good rebounder as a PG

That would be ballsy. That starting 5 is a rebound machine 1-5

Yes....and I think Love can give you 20 ppg, while all other 4 starters could each give 15 ppg, meaning the starters could put up 80 ppg with balanced scoring. The bench group could add 30-35 ppg giving the team 110+ ppg with a better defensive and rebounding team than last year

And you could always shift Monk and Bacon if you want more spacing on the first unit.

This made me laugh:

some dbag on Twitter wrote:Official word from NBA: "After a thorough survey was completed this morning by two separate independent structural engineers, Thomas & Mack and Cox have both been deemed safe to open. ... NBA Summer League will resume today, 7/6, as scheduled at 3pm ET."

Followed up with this:

same Twitter dbag wrote:New: one of those engineers has been traded to the Clippers for two foremen and the rights to some rebar to be made in 2022.

This team makes the playoffs in the East. Easily. It’s easily a more talented team than what we had last year

I think the Jazz will win the title next season.

Clippers 2/1
Lakers 11/2
Bucks 6/1
Sixers 8/1
Rockets, Jazz 12/1
Warriors 16/1
Raptors 20/1
Celtics, Nuggets, Nets 25/1
Thunder, Blazers 40/1
Pacers 66/1
Mavericks, Spurs, Pelicans 80/1

I'm going with the Lakers. Lebron is still Mr. NBA and he just added a top 5 player to his team. He's done more with less.
The Charlotte Hornets will win their first round series against the Boston Celtics in the 2021 Playoffs

As much as I don't want the Clippers to win, I have to admit I'd enjoy them doing it while LeXperiment down the hall fails and gets another year older

I'm pulling for the Clippers in the west. before balmer got the team, they were almost as incompetent as us. maybe we can have a new owner someday.

in the east, im going with the bucks. giannis is likable and their fans are nice too, i think.

I'm going with the Clippers. They are going to be the best team defensively and can match any team scoring wise too, especially with their bench.

I'm rooting for the Clippers as well. I like Doc as head coach and it would be fun to see the "other" LA team and their millions of obnoxious fans get destroyed by Kawhi and company.

rooting for nuggets/jazz. will take clips over lakers/rockets however. just cant fully root for teams that were built with the dead bodies of non-coastal teams.

Celtics going to win the East!
