With three point guards on guaranteed contracts already, I would be very surprised if the Magic added a 4th.

I think a backup SG/SF is more likely.

Maybe DaQuan Jefferies gets the 15th spot for the minimum.
Technically, we still only have 2 PGs. MCW isn't officially signed yet.

Which, brings me to ask everyone, would you rather get MCW or Livingston?

MCW's signing hasn't been announced, but he's going to be here. Teams don't back out of verbal agreements, only players do.

Livingston's production has fallen off a cliff the last couple of years and he's about to turn 34.

I'd rather have MCW. Similar skill set to Livingston, but younger legs.

Free agent F Khem Birch has agreed to a two-year, $6M deal to return to Orlando, agents Mike George of @OneLegacySports and Jeff Schwartz of @excelsm tell ESPN.

Part of me wonders if Khem agreed to come back with the impression of Bamba getting traded.

Maybe he likes being here and thinks he can take Bamba's minutes (which he actually can). This opens up quite a bit of trade options for us. Hell, any of the centers can be trade bait for the right player.

I thought about it but it was just as a mentor role and good locker room guy with a ring who could possibly influence and help the young guys. I was thinking in addition to MCW, not instead of.
Woj is the new Bucher. Shams is the new Woj. Espn is the new TMZ. The NBA is the new WWE.

Random fun fact because I'm bored and it's the offseason, did you know that our original 2001 draft pick (that was then traded) Omar Cook is still playing overseas at 37 years old? He averaged 31.1 minutes last year for Movistar Estudiantes.

In 2001, I was in 6th grade. Yeesh.

Livingston doesn't play much traditional PG anymore either. IIRC, he played a lot of SG last year and did a lot of SG/SF sort of things on the floor rather than distribute.

Is per36 assist numbers are 4.2, which is in line with a SGs stat line. For example, Fournier had exactly the same last year. Briscoe had a much nicer 5.6 apg in his per36.

Yeah there were some international guys who's rights we had for a long time (aside from Fran) I'm not sure if we still do. Ramon Van De Hare was one of them and Janis Timma I know is more recent.

You have one good memory my friend. According to this we have rights to Justin Jackson from last year, Rashard Griffith, Janis Timma, Fran the man, and Remon Van de Hare. The oldest one rights still retained was from a year before I was born :o I wonder if the Hawks will ever renounce guys rights from 1986 lol.

Wow still have Griffith's rights? I remember he played well in Europe and the Magic had him over for a workout or something and he reportedly did awful lol.

Is it too late for Fran Vazquez to come over?

I believe its more of him not really having a market because of the rfa status. Wouldnt be surprised if after this contract, he is a ufa.

Kinda ot but I always have been logged in on this site. Now the past few days it makes me login whenever I’m away for more than 5 minutes. Anyone else? Could just be my cookies or settings or some other nerd stuff.

He is more of a 2/3 these days.

MCW is a better fit.

The Magic could use an extra guard but are probably too up against the tax to afford one.
