watch out for ali sanchez, he'll be nothing more than a backup but a backup with elite framing, elite, popup time, and elite throwing arm. he's legitimately one of the best defensive catchers in the minors.

he's thrown over 170 runners out in the minors at a 46% clip.

The real test is how he does with our starters because he’s great in the minors but catching Noah is a different animal. Nido’s time is limited. He can’t hit and he is struggling to throw out any runners. Any walk or single against Noah is a double. Maybe Sanchez is the answer?

pitchers love throwing to him, it’s why he’s in triple a at age 22 and always starting despite being a weak hitter.

I don't understand callaway. So Rosario is hot and sits him down. We're already in playoff mode.

Now our 6-9 are light hitters?!

Wilson Ramos now leads all MLB catchers in RBIs.

Just saying.

He can’t be any worse than Luis G out there. He is a good defensive player and has hit in AAA this year but I get those Ty Kelly vibes from him. He’s a 4A player that his hitting probably won’t ever translate because he simply looks overmatched. Since that’s the case I would take a flyer on Panik

It will only cost 1 million for a big market team.

For New York mets market... that's way too much

Don't really think the Mets are "getting hot". White Sox, Pirates, and Marlins are some of the worst team in the league. The remianing schedule, most of the teams are over .500.

Next up we got:

3 V Nats .530
3 @ Braves .580
3 @ Royals .350
3 V Indians .590
3 V Braves .580
3 V Cubs .540
3 @ Phillies .522
3 @ Nats .530
3 V Phillies .522
3 V Diamondbacks .500
3 V Dodgers .655
3 @ Rockies .460
3 @ Reds .482
4 V Marlins .375
3 V Braves .580

I'm only confident about the Royals and Marlins series.

I will be generous and say they are equally matched against the Nats and Phillies.

It would be nice to catch up to the Braves and challenge them for #1. Get a little head start for Postseason Baseball.

While we are munching on bad teams right now the Mets team ERA is the best in the majors since the all-star break so if the Starters should keep us in games because they are all pitching really well right now. Regardless on competition if degrom, Noah, Stroman, and wheeler pitching well we should have a good chance to win any game we play.

I hope none of y'all are ashamed that we're beating on bottom dwellers. We have the best staff in the NL, a decent lineup even without Cano and now we need our closer to fix himself. With this team, we should be making the playoffs.
