watch out for ali sanchez, he'll be nothing more than a backup but a backup with elite framing, elite, popup time, and elite throwing arm. he's legitimately one of the best defensive catchers in the minors.
he's thrown over 170 runners out in the minors at a 46% clip.
The real test is how he does with our starters because he’s great in the minors but catching Noah is a different animal. Nido’s time is limited. He can’t hit and he is struggling to throw out any runners. Any walk or single against Noah is a double. Maybe Sanchez is the answer?
