I thought Alex got knocked out of the tournament with an injury?

He's injured but still with the team. The timetable for his comeback is 5-7 days, so he'll probably be available for the first game

France vs Serbia tomorrow will be a good test for France !
So far we have a pretty good chemistry, with good role players (Ntilikina, Poirier, Toupane) and key players (De Colo, Fournier, Gobert) with a very good defense/offense balance!

Ntilikina is playing so much better than with NYC, as a def general with Gobert and Batum!
Offensively Fournier, De Colo and Batum are organizing very well the game with good spacing, unselfish plays by the coach !

I just thik it's not our nation style, especially our current coach Djordjevic. He didn't called Kalinic for as we know some political statments about Kosovo, there is really no way that he would call some foreign player. Maybe it will change in later future, but we are long way from there.

I will never respect that Russian gold, because it was Holden who won it. and Russians tried talk FIBA into rullling out only 1 naturalized player restriction, and even their clubs have a claws for players to get russian citezenship and play for russian national team if needed. Thats just pathetic and I dont respect federations like that. I respect teams like Serbia, and also proud my nation, Lithuania is against naturalizing too and that we won our titles without any mercenaries who have nothing to do with our country.

Politically i am not very patriotic at all, but in sports thats my opinion.
